If you buy an electric car and you complain about it, you didn’t do your research..lol

Because the manufacturers are so honest I guess. 😂

2024 will be the make or break year for EV's. If adoption doesn't increase at the rates needed by the auto-makers, then many will go bust. If your average person (not your early adopter or tech-nerd) doesn't start buying them en-mass, they probably never will. Hybrids still seem to check most boxes, or even straight gas cars as they're still a LOT cheaper.

There are many alternatives to gas/diesel that utilize the same ICE platform....that have NO BATTERIES. Hybrid cars are sort of the worst of two worlds, are expensive to buy, expensive to repair. They could be however, a transition to something better, a new type of fuel. Not EVs .

Hybrids are cheaper than EV's right now.

Nothing will change in 2024 and actual sold volume will most likely decline due to manufacturer reductions to accommodate lackluster demand.

Notice he cut her off talking about the gas prices low because it’s an election year 😂, she is spot on love this lady, 😊

From what I've read the charging infrastructure is not up to speed in many countries. It's almost as if they just want you to charge at home and if "you can't get there from here" you ain't going, lol.

Part of the reason for that is lack of energy production (electricity), unless you are Norway with hydro electric generation, where will you get the electricity?

Good point on gas prices being low because it’s an election year. However, if the current administration were to get a 2nd term, carbon tax in the next 4 years?

The current administration is done. The swamp is trying to install Nikki. They'll settle for Ron or create a Dem candidate to install if they have to though.

These cars are constantly catching on fire, some places banned parking in their garages because of this in other countries. Like the garage fires we see here.

These cars are NOT amazing, on=ne battery cell get damaged in an accident and the battery goes into melt down and catches on fire, some countries insurance won't insure them

Ha!....I hear that all the time. Oh..an ICE vehicle has so many parts to break, an EV only has a battery and a motor. But EV battery on a Tesla has almost 1400 individual cells and they can't be replaced or is economically unreasonable. One or two cells fail out of 1400 and what do you have.? A bad battery pack which costs $20k to replace! There's a reason why battery operated tools have a detachable battery and you have a spare on the charger at all times!!

Where i live there are now large fines for distracted driving, texting and driving....so car manufacturers glue a HUGE tablet to the dash so you can be even more distracted??!

Charging an EV is the equivalent of $17.50 per gallon in an ICE vehicle. EVs are a lot more expensive to insure and maintain. Plus, you only get secret fees for charging, double the cost for tires, and packs cost an average of $20,000 to replace. So check it out.

No matter how many experts say that the problem with EV adoption in the USA is infrastructure lagging, EV fanboys will argue and present an alternative universe of their facts. Widespread EV adoption is dead man walking for a decade or more. It’s just a fact and yet, when anyone says this, he or she is bullied by the fanboys as hating EV cars and trucks which isn’t always true.

If people bought an EV and didn’t throughly do their research, then that’s their fault. In about 50 years the EV’s will be a better option, but keep in mind how they get minerals for the batteries!!

I don;t usually comment, but I have to on the EVs. It is a luxury item just like an RV. If they can maintain their industry through the good and bad times, so can the EV market. High tech always hits the high end market and then trickles down to the bottom. You guys are putting the horse before the cart. Stop worrying about low wagers. Stick to the upper tier.

I'm retired and want an EV. I cannot afford the cost of both the EV and charging port in my garage. Therefore, I'm looking at going HEV (not PHEV) to save money on the back end. Meanwhile, EV are problematic for most but in about 3 or so years, Toyota and others will start introducing solid state batteries to replace the Lithium Ion packs, which will be safer and be good for over 500 miles of range. They say never buy a 1st year new car design? Same for EV -- the tech is still evolving and many of us just won't support Tesla and their moronic evil CEO.

May I suggest a pre 2017 HEV as they do not have all the data collection and tracking the new ones have.
