This week in Joeanory, Miss Boylan is celebrating Schools' Football Week with the story of Lily Parr a trailblazing football star. She was part of the legendary Dick, Kerr Ladies team that was until 1921, when the Football Association banned women's football. This is the story of the inspirational women who kept on playing the sport they love and inspire the woman of today.
