Hey, my dad got a video of you playing the violin for a "I gotta feelin" cover. If you have lost it or want it back, I can send you the files if you want.
OMG, this is something I have been searching for, for ages, I thought I was going to have to make one, which never goes well. Googled it and it turns out the internet is full of them. Thanks.
Sounds good! I just got a retro. One strange thing is that the 218 seems to only accept midi clock through USB-C (and doesn't send clock). I'm currently trying to synch a Microcosm FX pedal with the easel arp and can't figure a way to do it without a computer. Do you know if there's any other solution to clock the 218 without using a computer?
The 218e only receives MIDI clock over USB. So if you need to clock your 218eV3+, you can either clock it with analog pulse using the black jack, or you can use a USB MIDI host if you don't want to use computer USB MIDI.
@@pyrofiliac Thanks! I checked the KO-II and found out that it strangely only outputs Clock, Continue and Stop messages, while the 218 needs a Start message. I'm going to look for (non-daw/computer) stuff that sends Start messages along with clock over USB and can also output to the Microcosm. (I think it will be a short list!) Thanks for pointing out the Pulse In. That could offer another avenue, but creates other challenges in syncing the fx pedal, I think.
Lovely stuff. Enjoyed chatting to you briefly at the bungalowdorf. Hope you got to the Cobblestone for some good trad anyway. Cheers!
headed there tonight!
Beautiful Nick!
Wonderful! you just get smoother.
You're such a wizard, man! Lovely flow and melodies here!
