These companies are always so frustrating with the same old sales line. We have to customize the order to your needs. They just want you to have to deal with a hard sale salesman. They all damn well know that we just want a ballpark on the base unit. What are we looking at... $1,000, $10,000, $100,000. If they won't tell you up front then you can't afford it, unless as you say - you're a massive company. A two person startup has a different idea what "entry level" is compared to a company with 50 employees. This machine boils down to what, 3 steppers and a solenoid. You could build one around an arduino.
Please, please do something with the touch, it's extremely annoying that you can't even type a number because the screen puts other characters that you haven't picked up, I hope they'll fix that problem.
They make a special set of blades that should be able to go on it. Not sure how it would do stripping it but should at least cut to length. Worst case, a Komax 330 with the rotary head will strip just about anything.
