Erwin always has the best speeches. He was a real one even if he had to lie at times to get people into action. What confused me though was how short Eren was in comparison to the Colossus Titan. Eren and even Reiner's titan form is said to be 15 meters tall while Berthold's titan form can grow up to 60 meters tall. Therefore, Berthold's titan is only 4 times taller than Eren's and yet Eren could only reach his ankle? Even if you look at your own ankle in comparison to rest of your height, that's nowhere near 1/4 the height. If anything Eren should have been around the shin level and below the knee especially since the Colossus titan is longer in the legs than the torso I believe.

The anime tops the manga. Not to say the manga is terrible. Not at all. But with this soundtrack, watching these stories play out. Even reading the manga does not at all prepare you for these episodes.
Yup, Levi is how they get out of that situation. He literally shredded the beast titan, and then Armin sacrifices himself so Eren could take down the Colossal titan, and I forgot how they beat Reiner but they got him too. The beast titan and Reiner get saved by the other smart titan (the one with the luggage on his back) and Armin ends up eating the Colossal titan. You’re welcome.
This is an episode that's even better watching it the second time imo. Erwin's speech and conversation with Levi after seeing how it ends is way more emotional.

But hearing the Japanese, it sounded like it was definitely some kind of play on words that just doesn't translate well in English. I was wondering about what the joke was. The reason Erwin never mentioned this plan was because it required that he himself would have to die as well. This is something he has never really had to do, but is something he’s done with hundreds of other men. He’s ordered hundreds of soldiers to their deaths. Erwin was revealed to be a selfish person, someone who never really cared about humanity, but just wanted to prove his own theories right. It wasn’t until he himself was ordered to charge to his death by Levi that he could actually do it. He couldn’t sacrifice himself without someone else ordering him to do it, kind of a bit of irony there ( almost like repentance )
The problem with the titan juice though is that it only turns you into a mindless titan. Using it on Levi or Erwin would actually remove their combat capability. You can only turn into an intelligent titan or titan shifter if you steal the power from someone else by eating them.
If Levi used that serum he'll just turn into a stupid titan. And we know Zeke/beast titan can command titans like eren coordinate. So basically Levi will just basically work for the beast Titan.
Reading that part in the manga was depressing, but watching the anime definitely it's a whole different experience, Erwin's voice, the music, Seriously DAISUKE ONO DESERVES ALL THE AWARDS ;___;
