I love how you understand berthold and reiner while other reactors didnt give a second thought theyre labeled them as shit/bad characters because of what theyve done without compromising the reasons its like the survey corps vs military kill or be killed... but as a manga reader ive chosen a side but atleast i understand the action of each side

It's the best kind of reveal where it's not a "gotcha!" but rather a, "of course, why didn't I notice before!" Isayama has crafted something truly special with SnK, and if you're paying attention, you get to relish that fact instead of just screaming "WHAT" all the time.

You guys tried to view everything from their perspective which is the true intention of the mangaka (probably), that noone seems to be a real villain here in attack on titan universe.

Eren and the rest are on a island, his dad comes from off the island from the main continent and the beast Titan is his son also. The magna explains it all.

Hange was delegated by Erwin to be the next Commander of the Scouts. Armin has his role, and as Levi mentioned, it isn't to replace Erwin. Armin has a unique set of skills that he can put to use whether or not he is Commander of the Scouts.
The dad and beast titan looks similar. Eren and the beast titan had the same power, to control titans.
I think i remembered they said something about discovering something is wrong within the wall which explains that how they havent advance into the future at all.
The beast Titan has said in the last EP that the family Reiss has erased the memories of the people in the wall so you can therefore know nothing of the outside world but what the big reason behind it is we do not know yet :P at least in anime cant wait for more :D

Loved the discussion afterwards. It is indeed like a different show going forward. In my personal opinion it's like Attack of Titan part 1 ended when they opened the book and the end credits rolled. The scene that played afterwards, with young Grisha and his little sister Faye, was like the first scene of part 2. I'm also glad you immediately started viewing Reiner and Bertholdt in a different light. That bodes well for your enjoyment going forward.
It was at this point I realized just how amazing Isayama's worldbuilding for this series is. I can't wait for next week.

Grisha Yeager is coming from Liberio, in Mainland Continental of Eldia (Now occupied by Marley). Eldia is a Subject Ymir who can transfrom become Titan like Eren & Reiner.
In This Photo : Grisha Yeager, Dina Fritz (one of Eldian Royal Family and she is Smile Titan who eat Eren's mother) & Zeke Yeager (Beast Titan, half-brother of Eren who in the last chapter of Manga, he help Eren and his fraction against Marley)

If you watched the Pianist or other Jewish/Nazi movie, you can tell that's an exactly anime portrait of what happened in WW2. The armband and the security checkpoint give it away. A freaking Nazi twist in AoT. Holy fuck. I'm still in shock. Just imagine Eren, Armin and Mikasa fighting Hitler and then going to America lmao.
[MAJOR SPOILERS]
A long time ago a woman named ‘ymir’ made a deal with a certain ‘something’ then she got the powers of the titans, after 13 years she died and the power of the 9 titans got seperated and was given to random people.
Then somewhere after that there was a titan war and the eldians had all the power in the world so thats why the world outside the walls HATE eldians. The 145th king then went to the paradise island and made the walls with the founding titan’s power and erased all eldians memories because he didn’t want a war and he also made a deal with the founding titan’s powers that if somebody with royal blood gets his hands on the founding titan that they will have no choice but to obey the 145th kings choice.
But when the 145th king ran to the paradise island there were still people on marlyan territory. Marlyans then didn’t kill those eldians but they let them live inside a certain zone. Marlyans then used those eldians to train them and make them into ‘warriors’ and their mission was to go into paradise island and retake the founding titan. Thats why they send reiner,bertolt,annie and marcel but marcel was eaten by an abnormal titan.
The eldians in marlyan hate the eldians in paradise island because they think it’s their fault that they are being treated like shit.
- In Grisha’s backstory he’s going to run out of that zone with his little sister. To look at a blimb, thats where they are going to feed his little sister to the dogs when they get seperated. So when Grisha grows up he’s going to join a revolution group in secret where they get information from a certain character named ‘the owl’ and in that group will be a woman with royal blood and she’s going to marry Grisha and they will have a kid named Zeke. Someday zeke will betray his parents for the better outcome for his grandparents. After that they bring the members of the secret revolution group to the paradise island where they give them titan syringe and transform them into mindless titans. The also transform Grisha’s wife into a mindless titan and that’s the blonde smiling titan ( with royal blood) who ate eren’s mom. When the’re about to transform Grisha into a titan ‘the owl’ a secret eldian in marleyan army kicks the captain of a cliff -> transforms into the attack titan and kills the rest of the police/army and that’s where he’ll give the attack titan powers to Grisha.
- The founding titan’s power to control mindless titans can only be used when the owner had royal blood or when he gets in contact with someone with royal blood. Thats why eren could control titans after he touched the blonde smiling titan.
- Zeke the grows up as an eldian warrior and when the perfect time comes he teams up with eren and betrays marleyan. Zeke and eren’s plan is to come in contact with each other and control a few collosus titan to destroy marlyan

Also it should be noted that not that long ago Zek or whatever the beast titan guys name is, him/reiner/bertholt were drinking instant coffee in aluminum/Tin cups... Teas not that black; and last season there were canned sardines/herring in the tower they were trapped in when Ymir nearly dies and Historia learns her name.
so there were clues that are so common place in our society that they did not stick out as out of place.
I did not see cars so around 1810AD for tech level maybe... I cannot wait to see Grishas homeland in the present day of the manga.
