Interesting suggestion actually, I’m only familiar with a couple songs but maybe that’s exactly what I need to do, deep dive his music, thank you bro✌️
Why does it have to be a plugin specifically? Why not samples? You’re more likely to find pack of drums you like in that style than drum plugins, it’s a much easier option my friend💪
Oh yea just listened, he does sample it on Gina. Actually I found the original song just on a playlist of timbaland production credits and couldn’t see any evidence of it being used anywhere on whosampled. Absolutely sick drum loop and no surprise dpat has actually used it haha thanks for adding this information to the conversation my friend🙏
I just mean current king, not overall if you get what I’m saying. Any suggestions for who’s the current male king of rnb, still at their peak in their career? Thanks for the comment my friend✌️
@@drewgrit_ lol still disagree but you got cool content and just gained a subscriber. Currently the king is hard for me to say. I guess I would say Chris Brown due to numbers and he still has a strong fan base. But my favorite male rnb at the moment is Dylan Sinclair, his style is reminiscent of pure Rnb I used to remember as a kid but it’s still modern. He’s a breath of fresh air when it comes to male Rnb. Brent to me is more of alternative Rnb. Or what I like to say weed smoking music.
@@levelup9133 I think Chris brown would have been fair until the most recent album, that was first time he hasn’t hit the mark. Maybe he will bounce back with next album being top notch, definitely possible. Listening to this Dylan guy now to check him out, pretty good but still niche. Maybe he will build up to being top dog. We will see I guess✌️
Thanks so much✌️I had to rewatch to work it out but looks like I’m mainly using Cymatics Eternity for the first couple examples. Then the Sonder son example is two Ableton kits, one is “Atom kit” and I believe the other one is called “Around the world kit” but in the video can only read “around the” so I’m speculating lol and then the wasteland example came from searching on Landr for Linn Drums I liked. I hope that helps my friend, thanks for the comment💪

I don’t know if you’ve seen my latest video about “texture” but I talk about a couple techniques Tyler uses in that but it’s not like a “how to make Tyler beats” type video. I might try a dedicated Tyler video since you asked, thanks for the recommendation my friend✌️
That makes sense yea, I’ll put it down as a possible video for sure, but I only put videos out if I’m happy that’s I’ve recreated their sound atleast 90% so wish me luck💪

Interesting suggestion actually, I’m only familiar with a couple songs but maybe that’s exactly what I need to do, deep dive his music, thank you bro✌️
2:22 😂😂😂😂 I can’t play it but that was funny af
Hahaha thank you dude, I need to get back to joking around more in my videos! Thanks for reminding me💪
@@drewgrit_ love g! ✊
I really need help finding a plug in that sounds like dpat/ Brent’s drums 🙏
Why does it have to be a plugin specifically? Why not samples? You’re more likely to find pack of drums you like in that style than drum plugins, it’s a much easier option my friend💪
Can u make how to produce songs like joey badass????
That’s a great idea dude! I’ll add that to my list of possible breakdown videos. Thanks for the recommendation my friend💪
So this was laila watched before dropping “Like That!”
Just listened to the song because I wasn’t familiar, pretty cool song my friend✌️
good shit man!
Thanks bro, this one took so much time and energy to make so hoping it pays off haha glad you enjoyed
Dpat sampled “why do fools fall in love”, is that were you got it? He sampled and called the song Gina.
King of RnB is a stretch but I do like
His music.
Part 2! Part 2!
Hahaha yes bro, that’s the type of enthusiasm I’m talking about, love it, thank you😂
how you gonna talk about Brent's beats without mentioning Dpat who basically produces everything?
Bro I mentioned him within the first 10 seconds of the video😂😂
Make a video on Beton brut 🙏
He’s too talented, couldn’t replicate him even if I knew him and could ask him questions loooool
This was sooo dope!!!! If you don’t mind telling me what drum kits were used?
Thanks so much✌️I had to rewatch to work it out but looks like I’m mainly using Cymatics Eternity for the first couple examples. Then the Sonder son example is two Ableton kits, one is “Atom kit” and I believe the other one is called “Around the world kit” but in the video can only read “around the” so I’m speculating lol and then the wasteland example came from searching on Landr for Linn Drums I liked. I hope that helps my friend, thanks for the comment💪
@@drewgrit_ thank you so much!!!! 🤯🙏🏽 Yes that definitely helps! I’ll check out those Ableton packs! Forgot that I have most of the Cymatics packs and I’ll just Google Linn Drum kits
That’s perfect then, you’ve got everything you need! Haha amazing news, good luck with the music, I’m sure it will be sick🙌
@@drewgrit_ thanks!!!!
Great video 🌤✨
Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it my friend, brent gang all day haha
part 2 wya
Good point, I haven’t really thought about that in a while, thanks for reminding me my friend, I’ll start thinking💪
Amazing video
Thanks very much my friend, more artist breakdowns coming soon✌️
ayo could you please do FKA Twigs
Really good idea dude, I’ll add her to my list of video ideas for sure. Thanks for the recommendation my friend✌️
PART 2
On the way sooner or later I promise haha I have big plans for it which is delaying the process sadly! Will be worth it tho, thanks for showing enthusiasm my friend✌️
easy bro❤... we'll be waiting@@drewgrit_
Love dude for real💪❤️
I’ve noticed that Brent’s beats have a Timbaland feel to them
It seems so obvious once you realise doesnt it😂
Cool channel dude! take my sub!
Thats great news! Welcome to the channel my friend✌️
🔥🙏
Thanks very much William, more brent stuff soon hopefully✌️
ayeee hex
Hix you mean? Yea man he’s sick! Such a good channel💪
hell yeah hix da shyt@@drewgrit_
Haha you know it broski✌️
Do how to produce like Tyler
I don’t know if you’ve seen my latest video about “texture” but I talk about a couple techniques Tyler uses in that but it’s not like a “how to make Tyler beats” type video. I might try a dedicated Tyler video since you asked, thanks for the recommendation my friend✌️
@@drewgrit_ ty, I think it’s more so me wanting to know the synths he uses and inspired drums
That makes sense yea, I’ll put it down as a possible video for sure, but I only put videos out if I’m happy that’s I’ve recreated their sound atleast 90% so wish me luck💪
🤣you my guy!!!
Haha thank you dude, glad you enjoyed it
How to produce songs like cleo sol and iglooghost
I know a bit of Cleo but never listened to iglooghost. Checking out now, sounding pretty sick, great sound design, I’ll make note of both these suggestions! Thanks for the comment my friend✌️
@@drewgrit_ thanks for the game big dawg. God bless you
Love man, god bless you too💪
WTF I just notice that when you play the part of the video that he says like and sub the like button does a rainbow animation 4:47
Haha that’s mad I had no idea, thanks for letting me know my friend✌️
🔥❤🔥
Cheers dude, more breakdowns coming soon✌️
@@drewgrit_ totally down for it
Does Brent produce all his own music
I know he works closely with producers like Dpat and dj Dahi like I mentioned in the video but I’m not sure if he does anything solo. Hope that helps my friend✌️
he sometimes does, he either collaborates with other producers or makes the entire like he did on All Mine
Thanks sick info, thanks for contributing that to the conversation💪
Do drake!! Like his older musix
I’ve thought about this recently actually! I was considering maybe doing something in the Take Care era, that the type of old drake you mean?
@@drewgrit_ definitely a good start! Or even his older album “So Far Gone” had a great usage of decimort and downsamplings techniques. Regardless, both are really similar!
So true dude, some good techniques to talk about across those albums! Definitely going to investigate this video idea✌️
Jesus loves yall frfr
Haha thanks my friend, shoutout jesus! I love him back💪
