The F The World beat in this vid got me thinking how do you go about analysing the harmony of a song? For example I want to make Brent Faiyaz type beats but don't know what chord progressions he often uses. How do you figure out the chords to a song without sheet music?
I learnt a lot over the years & have figured out how to recognise certain types of progressions. U could also use something like melodyne to get the exact chords from a song

how often are you printing your midi to audio? i have a mac m1 with 16gb of memory and i even struggle when i start adding multiple analog lab vsts and doing crazy fx chains on them to get unique textures. i think i may need to updrage to 32 gb ram when they make a mac mini that supports that much ram
I only print midi to audio when I want to reverse it or chop it up tbh
