I love the perks that give an auspex scan on targets you perfect parry because the signature perk allows you to perfect parry and gun strike 1 shot lictors and raveners
I followed this video exactly. Started with the Melta. Level 25, everything is relic tier and maxed out with mastery points. This build absolutely slaps. This is how a meta class should be played. I highly recommend
@@misterv_qc5087heavy bolt sucks. Regular bolt is was better, plus you get the grenade launcher (gotta use top right variant for each teir to get grenade launcher). Its my fave for long distance. Can pop heads pretty decent. Melta is king. Plasma incinerator hits like a truck.
A skill combo I don't see anyone talking about is what I use. Equip the perk which gives auspex on parry. Equip the perk which makes headshots instantly kill an extremis enemy. The plasma rifle is also a great semiautomatic rifle for spamming regular shots into hordes and taking out gun enemies, it’s charged shot is cool for stunning orkilling majors. Don’t sleep on the uncharged shots as it’s very useful.
My variant is to get the perk that scans targets by way of perfect parry, 100% damage but decreases time and scan lasts for 8 seconds longer. You stay in the fight with shields better when surrounded. I also have chainsword with 100% contested health gain. This lets you stay alive way longer by spamming heavy attacks when your shield runs out.
I use heavy Bolter rifle and the plasma incenerator. Heavy Bolter rifle good to turn those termagants into bloody mess but the plasma incenerator Is good for chaos. Thank God I can switch perks during diff mission without spending
Honestly right now it seems like the best team to run would be Tactical for the team damage and access to many weapons for variety, Sniper for the ranged option to kill majorus enemies and destroy the hive mind, plus the Argo potential allowing you to pull enemies off allies and then going cloak to get them off you, and lastly bulwark, for the healing and armor stuff, plus someone who has the shield and can survive and create choke points
I’ve found the perfect party applies scan with the perks that increase duration and increase damage at cost of duration makes defeating major and up very easy.
my only issue with the bolt rifle is that i dont want to only use the grenade launcher, i want a bolt rifle to use as a fully auto bolter and i don't care at all for the plasma or melta. so is the actual rifle part good or would the heavy rifle be better?
Hey I think what you said about the chainsword is a little misinformed, block doesn’t mean the weapon has a block. Block only means you cannot perfect parry. Balanced means you have a normal perfect parry window, and fencing means you have an extended perfect parry window.
@@LegacyGamingUS Just hover over the "balanced" or whatever tag it has at the weapon description. The game presents it poorly but there is an explanation of all 3 types. Block does not allow for any perfect parry trading it for higher dmg of the weapon while fencing trades some dmg for basically having the Vanguard perk all the time.
The final signature perk cooldown is a bit sad, accidentally procing it on majoris enemies is depressing. It's super nice with a Melta based loadout but with bolter loadouts it's unlucky.
