was driving down 35 here in Texas listening to 89.9 San Marcos and heard this of course I know vampire weekend but while listening to this never even realized it was a cover of that song totally made it there own love it

I do not know Vampire Weekend so just listened to the song. This is WAY different! Slower, much more stripped down, more romantic. It's totally different!

Roman Tano They didn't ruin it at all. The quirks and eccentricities are what make it unique. This rendition is awesome and Matt definitely made it his own, but it still doesn't come close to the arrangements of the original, which is melancholic and fun at the same time.
