This is one of those hidden past gems everyone needs to see. I always think about showing this series to my children once they are teens since you learn so much of it while enjoying it to its fully.
Luke, without spoiling I will only say that all your questions will be 100% answered by the end. This show is good like that. It's amazingly written. The author also wrote Elusive Samurai which is just finishing up it's first season and Neuro which is an underrated anime gem. He's actually quickly on his way to grabbing GOAT status.
I love this anime and you will too, also whoever is editing your videos and picked that lo-fi version of Moonlight for the end part of the video knows what they are doing
Actually if you think about it, the way they/he presented it that was weird, but this is more like if a demon lord in a fantasy game/anime says he's gonna blow up the world but he will do it in 1 year, and only the hero party can beat him, and in this case the hero party is the whole class So IMO it is the usual "plot" with a fresh take on the story (not gonna go overboard or in depth to prevent future spoilers)

This isn't just a weird anime, this is one of the main ICONS of "weird anime". It's ridiculous, it's insane, it's completely bipolar in mood, and it's premise sounds borderline stupid. But that's exactly why it's so great! The idea of the story seems so completely random and incomprehensible that it can be jarring if you don't realize quickly to just go with the flow without questioning it much, but it's a ton of fun once you adapt to it. Definitely a wield ride, and it goes to pretty surprise directions later on.

Oh yeah, the premise of this series is very odd, but once you get goin with it you get so attached to everyone, and once you learn the backstory of WHY things are the way they are, it's gonna hit lol. Hope you have fun with this series!
I I haven’t watched this in Japanese dub before. But personally, I found it super easy to understand Kuro sensei’s character and intentions in English dub. The English voice actor is great
1:26, this is definitely an American school. 8:10, look at what humans have to do to just match just a fraction of his power. 13:37, *singing with the Agatha song playing*, Whose been messing with everything, it was tentacles all along! 14:55, woooow, did you just assume someones gender, woooow, lol. 19:58, This is My Assassination Academia. Oh by the way, I forgot to mention that this is the story of how I became the world's greatest assassin.
09:20 As much as it sounds like the most generic collection of James Bond villain cliches, all of these points have a pretty good background explanation. It will take time before we get to this though.
All the why's you will come up with are going to be answered throughout the anime...character development and "plot" are both top tier...just bear in mind: it can go from 0 to 1000 in seconds...an open mindset is definitely a requirement until you develop an attachment to the characters...hopefully it'll keep your attention
