Actually cold fusion can be tested, but the experimental replicability is poor, as dependable examples rely heavily on unproven theories in the relatively undeveloped domain of condensed matter, and unproven theories undoubtedly get less attention than ones that have been around for a long time. Don't be surprised if cold fusion goes onto the market for 10 straight years before mainline physicists in great numbers begin teaching about it in schools.
It contradicts not electromagnetism, but quantum mechanics. Also, quantum mechanics is not fully developed. It is still not conclusively determined how half-lives get their values. In a way, you could instead argue that it doesn't contradict quantum mechanics, because the present level of knowledge is simply insufficient to assert that cold fusion is impossible. You think quantum mechanics rules out cold fusion. I think you are misrepresenting science.
Offcourse cold fusion is possible, all u have to do is manipulate the laws of quantum mechanics........ if the laws of quantum mechanics does not allow cold fusion, then simple, change the laws of quantum mechanics by manipulating the mechanics of reality at the pico level.... get to the mechanics that controls quantum mechanics.... think deeper....
Thanks, Kurt! Operator error, it is corrected.
Great presentation for a lay audience.
Awesome! Good job, Chris. Makes me miss atomic clocks.
This is so cool I'm in a rabbit hole of science videos
I've already emailed them asking for a change in the title. I'm not quite sure how they came up with that. Hopefully you still enjoyed the talk.
yes i enjoyed it :) and they fixed the title already, thanks :)

please change the title, because "cold fusion" is bullshit pseudoscience, and this video has nothing to do with it.
asinine
