Now compare that with the countries GDP. Realize we are in the worst financial shape since the inception of this country. The Trudeau government has DOUBLED our debt. Nope. Investors and speculators are the problem. In big cities they are demanding lots of money to rent them out. So average Canadian is stuck with having to pay high prices or become homeless. A small chicken coup in Toronto would cost your more than 1500 dollars. The number of immigrants coming in could have been absorbed had the investors/landlords not been greedy. Do you see Asian immigrants being homeless? That's because they come into the country with money and can afford to pay the higher rents. Compare tutions between a citizen and an international student and you'd get the idea.

Whoever you vote, NEVER VOTE FOR THE NDP, unless you are jobless and lazy to work, or you are in homeless community. Just look at BC, after NDP took over, everything has become more money except income. And this NDP inflation happened before the covid inflation started, because the NDP would tax everything from head to toe, and then use the money to buy shelter for homeless people. In NDP's strategy, all homeless people would then move to BC and vote for NDP; Or use the money to give cash rebate to some people with very low income (the rebate won't be enough to cover the inflation created from NDP's taxes). So NDP does NOT create wealth, it transfers wealth.

NDP will create equality in Canada, where everybody is equally poor.
How this is done? NDP will increase taxes for businesses, working people, homeowners, and high income people. They will then distribute the taxes to homeless people, junkies and drug addicts, jobless people, and low income people. Because the taxes are too massive, prices and costs will go up, businesses will suffer less income and revenue, working people become working horses, homeowners lose equities and value, and high income people will run away. But the people who enjoy NDP's taxes won't really enjoy it too, because everything from head to toe will be more expensive. In the long run, everybody becomes poorer, because you'd need to create wealth, not transfer wealth like NDP.

The NDP, especially, if they think about it and want to be around for the next election, should actually vote in favour of an election now. Their popularity has already tanked, and is due to lose at least another 10 seats and that's strictly because of Jagmeet Singh and his support of the Liberal policies. What the NDP, BLOC and Liberals don't seem to realize, is that everyone is hurting. Seniors are dipping into their savings, provided they have one. Young couples that don't yet own a home, will never afford one under this government. Those that have a home stand to lose it, as they will be charged a fortune to heat, and they still have to eat. So many people are already living in the streets, because they can't afford anything else. Some people will have to keep their heating well below 15 Celsius and that is totally unfair. My children so far, are able to still eat, but the heat goes way down in the winter and they open their windows in the summer 90% of the time, because they can't afford to cool their homes. Each of them plus their spouses work and one has two full time jobs. My husband and I are retired and have some savings, that Trudeau would love to take away from us. We own our home, but taxes are high and so is upkeep. Trudeau and his government are so busy with the many scandals, that they have to keep taking from the taxpayers. The SLUSH FUND is probably the worst one so far, and that's after ArriveCan, WE, Trips, SNC Lavalin, and many others, which are far too many to list. People need to be able to have the right to an election now.

We don't need a carbon tax. We're making life very difficult for Canadians and it's all for nothing. If the Liberals didn't despise Western Canada so much they would have spurred on the development of natural gas liquid facilities, pipelines, etc. We could have displaced so much coal that's being burned in developing countries with clean natural gas that globally there could have been a significant drop in CO2. We could have saved more CO2 from being emmitted than the entire CO2 emmitted by Canada period. Canada's place in the world could have been a net positive in the fight against climate change but petty egos and weak politicians with personal vendettas rule the day. Instead of screwing us into the dark ages how about you unleash this country's potential and actually do something good for the world at the same time. What am I supposed to do, leave the thermostat in my house at +1C? GFY

The only plan Poilievre has is to cut and dispose of just about everything so he can give his corporate buddies another tax cut. His buddies are already breaking records with profits, but crying for more and contrary to what Cons say, those tax cuts do not generate jobs, it does not trickle down and nobody but the corporations and shareholders see the benefit. Once he chops other programs, healthcare costs will increase again, seniors will see their benefits terminated and their CPP/GIS/OAS reduced. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't raise the retirement age to 70 or higher claiming CPP is in financial trouble (Which it is not, it's extremely healthy). Listening to this Con with his name calling and claiming he will save the country crap reminds me of Trump. Hilarious that Poilievre talks about other politicians and their pensions when his alone is three times higher than theirs. This guy is nothing but a wolf in sheeps clothing and a lifetime politician.
