when using mine i often get promted to connect the vci with a usb cable, i'll see this prompt when doing various job's, for instance when i try to enter into the CAS module.Have you come across this, and if so were you able to gain that access, i attempted to many time with different usb ports on the otofix but always failed to 'get in', can you shed any light on this issue?
It can on my Kia. You can check vehicle coverage here otofixtech.com/vehicle-coverage/coverage2 Select the vehicle, scroll to ECU, Special functions, and it should say write VIN

Hi Mike, this was brought to my attention yesterday. They have said it’s a temporary problem to do with import tax. I’ll let you know when they’ve sorted it.
@@mikewitney9774 There is too much to mention. It does so much, obviously make and model specific. I say that if the OE equipment can do then so can the D1 pro. For instance I’ve just had a Peugeot boxer van that 3 scan tools couldn’t reset the Eolys level adaption but the D1 Pro could. Let’s hope we can get you one very soon
