Once again thank you to Phil always good to see the koi and the improvements along the way. The koi and pond are just breathtaking big kudos for all your efforts and thank you again for the beauties from the grow on.
Nice job phil 👍 The fish are looking well and everything nice and tidy as usual.😊 I've always been told to keep the air pump above the water line incase of a power cut. Too stop water draining back into it. 🤔🐟
Thank you, much appreciated 👍 I’m a big Oase drum fan as I’ve always found them to be super effective and bulletproof, just wish they could find a way to keep their prices a bit lower to make them more available to everyone 😊👍
Indeed it does but funny how there is nothing on the market that we can use safely with koi, looks like the fly paper shop will have some repeat business ☹️
Pond and grow ons looking great Phil👍 I rod mine like yourself but my drain has a couple more twists & turns to navigate around which sometimes can be a pain to feed the jetter around, mainly because I don't have an upstand on the drain line. Looking good though buddy😊
Hi Mate, Great Video Thankyou. Can I ask, When you jet/rod the bottom drain is the pressure washer being fed from the mains? I'm obviously thinking about chlorine. Very impressed with your setup. Kind regards Chris
@@chrisware8585 Good evening, thank you for commenting 😊👍. Yes the jet washer is being fed from the mains so I use Sodiumthiosulphate to dechlorinate afterwards. I mix 130g of Sodium Thiosulphate with 1 litre of water and then dose the pond with 25ml of the solution per 1000 litres of water. Hope this helps😊👍

Those black fly lavae are so gross. Enjoyed your video Phil, and glad they are all doing well, especially my yellow Dragon 😃
Thank you and yes, very gross🤮. The yellow dragon is outstanding 😊👍
Good info as always, Phil. I also have the black fly issue going on.....guess it comes with the territory.
