  • This is an instructional video that provides straightforward measures to ensure the optimal performance of your air conditioning system during extreme heat waves. This video goes over some regular and routine maintenance and some tips to maximize the performance of your air conditioner when temperatures exceed 46 degrees Celsius.
    This video also goes over the important aspect of having the condenser in the shade vs in direct sun and how it affects the temperature of the cold air.
    So if your AC does not cool when it's hot, you might want to try these maintenance tips.
    The AC in this video is LG's 1.8Ton Hot and Cold AC.

    Thanks Charlie for yr very informative video on a different Subject of AC. However I don't have an LG AC, only LG Refrigerator. My ACs are O General. Ifnu can make video on O. General ACs it will be wonderful. Thanks.

      Welcome, glad you enjoyed, btw the working principle of an AC is the same, so this video applies to EVERY air conditioner, regardless of the brand, or even the type of AC (Split/Window/Floor Standing) the only thing that doesn't apply is the last part of the video where I demonstrate the smart diagnosis feature.

      Thank you, I was already working on this video when you last commented. 😁 It just wasn't hot enough to film the rest of the parts.

      This is a great video bro, but now my ac is about 8~9 years old and is no longer cooling well anymore, was thinking of getting a new one but which one would you recommend?
      The panasonic ac or a LG ac?
      Thanks for reading my comment, have a good day ahead.

      According to me, 8-9 years is not that old for an AC, I've still got the LG AC I purchased in 2016, so it's about 8 years old and it still chills the room.
      Both are good, I picked LG because their after sales service is really good, so far never had any issues with LG even after running my AC in extreme heat.

    Will you please tell me what is the standard temp difference between ambient and condenser coil of outdoor. My condenser coil is heating upto 15°C more than the ambient temp around outdoor unit. The compressor is tripping off sometimes. Dont know what is the reason? The outdoor and indoor is cleaned.

      Normal AC or Inverter? I have never had the compressor trip on Inverter AC, it slows down but never cuts out even on the hottest days, the old non-inverter used to trip. how old is your AC?

      @@TechGuyCharlie Its LG Dual inverter 1.5 Ton 5 star 2022 Model. During summers there was no trip off but cooling was not adequate as LG technicians told me heat load is quite high in my top floor room. But its starting of monsoon and I have observed by smart diagnosis app that very oftennthe condensing coil is heating upto 15°C more than ambient temp and sometimes the compressor gets tripped.

    Hi bro..
    I have a cheap 4k tv 43 inches 60hz.. it plays 2160p fine in youtube but when i checked with cpuz it says my tv resolution is 1920 x 1080. I dont understand.. actually iam trying to make it a gaming tv.. so confused on which gpu should i purchase, 1080p or 4k gpu..
    thank you
    Please answer

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  22 дня назад

      That is because RUclips will play 4k even if the monitor resolution is 1080p, you need a GPU that will output 4k, like a basic RTX 3050 will output in 4k, although its not meant to game in 4k, for that you need a powerful GPU.

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  19 дней назад

      5 Star for the one which is in our living room, the one with sticker on it (Cooling only) and 3 Star for the one in my room (Hot and Cold)

    Cleaning is good but won’t using water cause electronic damage?

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  28 дней назад

      Nope! The outdoor unit is built to withstand torrential rain and indoor units coils already get plenty of water as condensation.
