Day Trip to TARRAGONA

Day trip to Tarragona. Taking in the sites at the cathedral, Roman ruins and port area. Really lovely city. Great mix of modern and old.
Travel passes can be purchased from the Bus Plana shop on the seafront in La Pineda at the top of Passeig de Pau Casals. Keep an eye on hotel Facebook pages though as we were able to pick a travel card up from someone who was heading home next day.

Going to stay in La Pineda for weeks holiday in July and definitely want to have a day trip to Tarragona with its rich history and Roman ruins, thank you for a great insight.

We went in mid September. Really lovely city
