Oh my gosh that fight scene around the 6 minute mark looks clunky! Lolol

True Crime games are and will always be the best, I wish they made more similar games or kept going in the series. We need a remake or remaster, cause I would buy it up.

I remember playing the shit out of this game back in the day. Unlike other people who owned a PS2, I did not ever own Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice city, or San Andreas because my mom didn't like the concept of violent games so I didn't played that series when I was young. My dad, on the other hand, owned an Xbox and this was one of the games that I distinctly remember he had even though I am pretty sure he didn't like the concept of violent games either. I played this game until the rooftop boss fight against that martial arts mother-fucker and I don't think I was ever able to beat him. Regardless though this game is still kicks major ass. I have played and beat Sleeping Dogs on the PlayStation 4

Unfortunately the controls hold the game back immensely. I just can't get used to inverted controls. Game has pretty poor framerate too. I truly believe whoever designed these controls was a drunk or a druggie. Just don't see how you'd settle on them otherwise even in early 2000s hahahah.

It’s funny and cool to see the video game version of street names I’m so familiar with as a L.A. native. So, I just picked it up recently, along with True Crime NYC, and plan to play it on my Xbox One X.

I'm sure its awesome to see a recreation of your city and explore it in a game. I also want to warn you that unfortunately this game and its sequel are not backwards compatible on the One or Series consoles.

Nah, can't play on new consoles and NY isn't compatible on 360 either. I mean, if you have the OG Xbox 360 that has backwards compatibility for OG Xbox.

I think back then they were still not sure if Rockstar was going to start suing people for making gta clones so unique controls were just part of trying to avoid any infringement
