These older Tom Clancy games had vastly superior stories compared to the modern live service trash titles Ubisoft poops onto its consumers these days. Also gotta say that main menu music was amazing!
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. This series was my brother in law and I’s favorite Xbox Live games at the time. We used to sink so many hours into terrorist hunt in the first two titles. A shame Lockdown wasn’t nearly as good and I should revisit Critical Hour at some point. Great reviews Dali!
Have some great memories playing Rainbow six 3 coop with friends. I had the version that included a headset where you could give voice commands to your squad worked decent
Fun fact: Rainbow Six was not based on a novel. It was a story Tom Clancy wrote specifically for the video game. He later turned it into a novel. Clancy was the co-founder of Red Storm and was very involved in the development of their games.
A wonderful profile on all 3 games in the series my friend, always quite informative & entertaining! Fortunately I own all the Tom Clancy Xbox games & even several of the strategy guides to go with them, I just need to play them after your enticing review! Love the new backdrop in your pad there, nice framed posters too!
@@TheDaliPopka Sorry I missed so many videos almost bought it as I had a bad case of Covid for over 5 months & just recently back to work but fighting long-haul Covid symptoms of major fatigue & the worse migraines imaginable.
I do happen to own Xbox Rainbow Six 3 but haven't played it much, I definitely think I will having seen this. I can say if you enjoyed this version you'd love the PC version, it has the tactical goodness you crave and trying to run and gun will easily get you killed. Rainbow Six 3 is brilliant, whenever someone dies you really feel like it was a big loss as it should be. I haven't played Black Arrow but I'll be on the lookout for it. I also agree about Lockdown.. it's not bad, but it's more action heavy style just didn't work as it felt like it tried to be both tactical and action. It definitely worked much better when they tried this approach again with Rainbow Six Vegas. As for Critical Hour..I honestly didn't know it even existed until this video. Can't say much on it. Overall great review here and I definitely like that you did your homework on the series and it shows.
I'd to call these games out for a distinct lack of Rainbows >:V Okay, jokes aside, I don't have much to say about these, they're pretty far outside my wheelhouse, but I do love the subtle improvements you've been making to the presentation on the videos. The games' box art fading onto the screen during the footage with the blue text box is quite nice in particular

Bro I remember the clan battles in rainbow six 3 for Xbox. I killed a whole team by myself once. I still remember the leaning glitch too lol or when someone on your team decided to leave the game with a. Live grenade so it kills their whole team lol
The only Tom Clancy games i had and played on the big green were Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Im interested in getting these in this video now. I did have all the ones on 360 and and xbox one. I have 0 interest in the extraction game tho. Creatures just seem way to out there for me for this series. Great reviews of these games tho. Enjoyed highly

Critical Hour was never released outside of the og Xbox and North America.

I had thought about doing a collection of other war-based shooters before tackling another Clancy series.

As far as OG Xbox goes, I haven't really played the Ghost Recon games, but I think R6 is a better time. Of course, that could change!

Sadly Critical Hour sold poorly, so it was never ported to PC/PS2 or even released anywhere outside of America.
