I've ordered her too. I've been a fan of barbie since malibu barbie. Did you order kenough ken? I did but he won't be sent until october. I think weird barbies price will go up since they're not talking about making more.
She's not going to be worth $10,000. Who would pay that for her. I would not wait too long to sell her. The movie hype has died down, and she's just going to increase in value in the long run. I only bought one doll from the movie the president. I got her not because I like the movie but I got her because she was the only pretty one and I don't have a doll with this fave mold.
A real collector would as many have sold for 10-20-30k before in private auctions. Gotta be patient and think what the value can be in ten years. Its how investments work. When everyone sells theres for 100 and people use them and de value them years from now there will be few left thats actually unopened and new. Still in the mattel shipping box years from will be a collectors dream. So in ten years we will see. As for real barbie fans barbie isnt a hype. Barbie is a life style and true barbie fans from childhood will get it. People who are barbie fans because of some barbie movie phase arent real barbie fans. But those who grew up with barbie in their heart, well thats a real barbie fan and collector. Its not just a doll, or now a movie. ITS BARBIE!!
@@AdamRidgway1 I have been a Barbie collector off and on for most of my life. I started collecting in the 90s. One doll was valued at $800 at that time. I just got that doll for $55 on ebay. Certain collector dolls like the Silkstones I can see going up I'm value. Because those dolls are so well made the movie dolls not so much. My President's dress doesn't even velcro properly in the back.

She is cute, but she isn't made all that well. eBay has brought the price down on collectibles in general because it's so easy to access and compare prices (unlike pre-eBay in the 90s). The only Barbie fetching 5 figures these days is an intact #1.
