This is a great movie. It is very educational based on the short story of Scott Fitzgerald. This is not the first time I watch this masterpiece. I liked it and subscribed to the channel.

Here Roger Moore was only 27 Years younger & handsome in his Hollywood debut with star Elizabeth Taylor so surreal, who would've known that Roger Moore would went on to become James Bond, this was even before Saint 😇.
    RIP to both 💐 🙏

People are often dismissive of Van Johnson. I recently saw him in Beyond This Place, a taut, suspenseful murder story. And also he did a film called 23 (?) Paces to Baker Street, where I think he played a blind guy. Both made in England, both wonderful.

Actually I was in Paris in December 2000 for few days, and got back to the American since..!
    Dưới trời Paris.
    (HIẾN CHƯƠNG 2000)
    Paris lá rụng thu tàn,
Sáng nay thức dậy lá vàng còn rơi.
Bình minh vừa hé chân trời.
Một đêm dài thật qua rồi đó em.
Anh đi tìm bạn bè quen,
Người tình năm cũ bên dòng sông Seine.
Cuối thu lá rụng bên thềm,
Thánh đường tháp cổ, chuông rền vọng vang.
Chim bồ câu trắng lang thang,
Năng vàng buổi sớm bình minh chân trời.
Dừng chân lữ khách mĩm cười!!
Tiếng Anh, tiếng Pháp, dưới trời Paris...
    Paris 12/ 2000

Fat lot of good you are to film fans in the UK.
The films are all older and copyright free why block the UK?

      Yeah and adultery too.

    • @FemiNelson-sb1em
      @FemiNelson-sb1em 11 месяцев назад +1

Sadly there is adultery, however its a life lesson in that flirting & disrespecting one another demonstrated the fall of their marriage. It showed that though they failed eachother, they didn't actually commit the ultimate act of a sequel relationship with said partners & they still loved eachother. It's heartbreaking 💔 & sadly a true to life situation. It also shows the real life struggle to improve as the surviving parent to regain a relationship with his child, repair relationship with sister in-law & etc. This may not be a Faith Based movie, however its still a decently made movie.

How extraordinary to see Paris in 56; I was there, aged 4. The film is pure Fitzgerald - whom I'm proud to say I never read (way better W. Faulkner; all of it). And, wouldn't anybody punch R. Moore right in the face the minute you saw him; perfect, insufferable gigolo?

    • @thecitizenjoan

John Funck this Film was based on Babylon Revisited a short story Fitzgerald. I can’t tell from your confusing people comment if you already knew that?

Is this supposed to be in color or what? Jeeesh. This is pretty washed out if you ask me and you'd think MGM's fixit people would fix it. It even looks like the lighting people were WAY off.
