I think most people were actually fairly pleasantly surprised by Hunter X Hunter at EVO, it just has a lower budget for presentation. It's made by Eighting which also worked on MVC back in the day and they're also working on the MvC collection.
Yeah I was wondering if we even played the same game. I think comparing it to budokai is especially jarring. I don’t think it’s anything like the original budokais. It’s very much traditional and super MvC vibes - meant in the best way possible.
