Chef Ted snapper can be found from about 3-40 miles offshore on any type of structure or artificial reef. I have caught mahi about 7 miles offshore in the late summer early fall when south east wind blow in the warm water.

Fairly new to the area and my Girlfriend's bucket list is to catch a Mahi. How far out is a normal range to Mahi and Snapper fish?
