I really love this project.. you really should think about having a convention or meet up where we can come meet you and have a weekend retreat to meet you and have classes with you. Your just so awesome and you make me want to craft because of all of your positive energe.
Just left the 1st premier for the valentine day card cant wait to try it. Now ill sit here patiently (Not) lol and wait for this one! Thank you Michael for all the amazing tutorials!!!!
Loved the first premiere and loving this 2nd one. I've never seen this craft before. You're the best Michael, I've learned so much from all your videos
Michael let me just tell you that all of your videos are helpful and educating. You are very entertaining and not to mention cute. You always do a great job in explaining what you are doing. Love you ❤️
For those who wonder, yes this also works with starch. You just need to mix the starch with cold water and heat it up. You can add the ammonium chlorine before or after heating up the solution. Before, I also tried to simply dissolve ammonium chloride in water, which turned out to be a mess. You need s certain viscosity for the solution to not spread too far, or you will lose the sharp edges
WOW! I NEEDED this video this morning! Wasn’t sure how I was going to get my granddaughters school project sign on without messing up. I love your parchment paper tip. Saved me hours, vinyl, and lots of headaches! Thank you!
I am so happy you said that about Cricut vinyl. I have bed. Buying my vinyl from 143 since I started with my Cricut. I really hated working with their vinyl, plus as you said, it’s way too expensive. I’m loving your videos!
This is awesome. I love the way it burns into the wood. I’m making my nephews and their wives a cutting board with their mother’s handwritten recipes on it. My sister-in-law has RA sooooo bad, she’s had to have every joint replaced except for one 😞. I have one of her recipes that she wrote probably 40 years ago and I thought it would make a heart felt gift. Now I’m rethinking it and maybe trying this. ❤️😊. Thank you and God bless. ❤️🙏❤️
Something I like to do to wood that I need very smooth is after sanding rub surface with a paper bag. It will amaze you as to how much smoother the wood will feel.
I am looking forward to this. I just made a sign for my guys barn with a saw blade that says Sawdust is Man Glitter. He loved it. Sawdust everywhere for all the things he builds me.
Hey Michael! I’m curious how well this design holds up over time, since it’s a charcuterie board. What do you use to clean it? Also, can you seal it afterwards with something like food grade mineral oil and butcher block conditioner?
Awesome! I really Love this updated tutorial...You answered a few questions that I was wondering, like can yo keep the mixture, (if you're only going to do one or two projects at a time) others saying about the baking soda, ect and the Scorch Marker. Thanks a Bunch for doing this...Now i finally can do some burning, lol. Btw, what type of Container should the leftover mixture be put in?
I don't know how you do it...I can't even lay the mat cover sheet on straight...how the heck do you lay that football field so perfectly?!?! Mind blown! Love it!!
I love watching your videos! Your enthusiasm with the projects make it so much more to want to do it! Saw all your other videos and this one just came up just in time for football season :)

The best and safest surface treatment for any wooden food surface is butcher block oil, which is simply mineral oil with no additives (scent, etc.) There are also waxes that woodworkers use, but they are much more expensive!

This was fantastic. I’m making my husband a wood plaque using your method. It’s our 32nd anniversary.
