Takes me back to an '80's TV show. The Fall Guy. Lee Majors played a Hollywood stuntman, with a side job, as a bounty hunter. My old Dodge.... same two tone, miss's something. LOVE those wheels, and tires, though.
yes sir they are i work at an off-road shop and we sell them all the time people love them including me. they aren't the best tire you can buy but they are the best band for your buck and think they look awesome! Thanks for the compliment i have worked hard to build this truck.
Awesome truck! Does the 4inch exhaust make it drone in the cab going down the highway? Last time I had a truck with a 4 inch tailpipe it was obnoxiously loud in the cab, even with a huge muffler! Thanks!
Surprisingly not my truck is really quiet actually for having no mufflers. but it might not drone because it's 3 inch pipe until it gets to the bed of the truck then it is 4 inch the rest of the way. It might drone if it was 4 inch all the way
@@aha3335 you are going to need an oil feed and oil return, you will also need an exhaust manifold and an intake manifold which you can source from 6.5 diesel you can even use the 6.5 turbo probably the oil feed line and the drain on the oil pan or you can try to source an old banks kit but those are rare and expensive
@@aha3335 6.5 are significantly more common than the bank's kits you could even just swap the 6.5 into your Blazer It would bolt up depending upon whether you have air conditioning in the truck you might have to modify your blower motor assembly that has the AC stuff in it
@@compressorhead02 hey that's what year my grandparents truck is expect she's a 1984 custom Deluxe Single cab standard 8"ft bed og toolbox 350 Gas with a I think a 5spd manual but idk but I planned to do a 6.0 Powerstroke compound turbo swapp but idk when
@@jimsmith9819 yea it's completely Stock but the motor from what my grandma told me is that mu uncle and my father completely rebuilt the 350 so idk but I'm planning on doing a engine swap to 6.0 powerstroke compound turbo setup and a 7spd manual
Yeah it's basically the same as a banks manifold but this one is a BAE manifold I got it with my truck when I bought it I couldn't tell you where you can get them
It is a BAE exhaust manifold a late model 6.5 intake manifold and the rest of the stuff i just bought individually, I put/welded together the piping and exhaust from things I had around or bought. The turbo is the WH1C holset off a first gen Cummins the wastegate is set to 12 lbs of boost
Favorite GM paint scheme!!!! Interesting combo of swaps makes it slick!!
That thing sounds like a semi! Awesome truck!!
I had a '97 K-2500 6.5 with a straight pipe that sounded just like that. Sounded good plowing parking lots.
Truck looks and sounds mean. 👌 it's expensive to do upgrades but the improvements are noticeable. Make more vids as it gets better.
Sweet sounds good and I'm only into my turbo about $300
This is cheap as hell.
Awesome man, if you ever rebuild it I would suggest putting a forged crank in that old girl so you don’t have any problems running some power.
I miss my 86 chevy suburban seeing this truck

What did you have to do to convert your 6.2 to a turbo? Like whats everything youd need to add to make it work. Id love to turbo my 82 blazer
