80cc motorized bike ride
Просмотров 1625 лет назад
I take my bike around town while you can barely hear me talk and it abruptly ends because my camera ran out of storage but I'm glad to have this bike back in tip top shape. I'm getting a new shift kit once I get paid then I'll be able to show you guys that but for now it runs great has an exhaust leak but still is a wonderful bike to ride.

I demonstrate how I repurposed a brand new weed killer bottle into a scuba style tank that can give me 2 minutes underwater
Motorized bike idle
Просмотров 3016 лет назад
My bike has a weird idle (also is dirty) and is hard to get right. It either idles too high or bogs down and dies I've messed with the idle screw a million times and it never seems to work right. I think once I get a boost bottle it will help it idle better!

i am no longer working on this project i am going to make a new and improved diving helmet out of steel. i have been busy working the last few weeks so bare with me. thanks for all the support!
What did you have to do to convert your 6.2 to a turbo? Like whats everything youd need to add to make it work. Id love to turbo my 82 blazer
@@aha3335 you are going to need an oil feed and oil return, you will also need an exhaust manifold and an intake manifold which you can source from 6.5 diesel you can even use the 6.5 turbo probably the oil feed line and the drain on the oil pan or you can try to source an old banks kit but those are rare and expensive
@@aha3335 6.5 are significantly more common than the bank's kits you could even just swap the 6.5 into your Blazer It would bolt up depending upon whether you have air conditioning in the truck you might have to modify your blower motor assembly that has the AC stuff in it
Can you give a shopping cart build for me

Hey, dude. How’s life going?
when you tell your wife that you're going to get a dog, keep in mind she doesn't know you're talking about an old truck.
Why aren’t you giving it some throttle? That’s procedure for these engines under specified temp.
Enjoy that thing while it lasts... I noticed youre from Washington and theres a shit ton of snow. You guys up north like putting salt on the road and you have no idea how fast that will rust metal. Nobody up north has classic vehicles youre one in a billion. 😂
That 6.2 Detroit is anti theft too
Nice job
Nice man. good to see a nice old truck being loved.
Nice wheels
Plug it in you are not doing it any good being stupid
Tire size??
Cool ride man!
What kind of exhaust are you running?
That old shitty Chevy starter brings back memories
Start one at forty below. That’s a rattle fest 😂
Letting the glow plugs cool down is counter productive.
If you had to leave In hurry you'd be screwed. Lol
We have 2 ‘84 Scottsdale’s sittin collecting dust.
OMG.
clutch in help her start, less fluid to spin
Dam i love that. Fuk thats nice
I wouldn't mind having one of these with a 6.2 na. Wouldn't really mind having a Ford either with a 6.9L or 7.3L IDI but prefer the square body because of the interior design.
I have the 2wd 3/4 ton version, , it only has 65,000 original miles but the body is garbage cause i live on the coast, so its super salty, what do you think its worth?
Sounds great. That's the first I heard of letting it set after you glow plug it. Nice ride.
A bit of a scania V8 vibe.
They are both V8’s. Even my 7.3 sounds like a baby CAT 3408.
The Fall Guy approves this message.
Yea most people don’t know how to drive a manual’s this day an time it’s sad
God I love you build bro got me a blazer myself actual K5 ofc n I wish I could enjoy a manual like you do but living in the city I don’t have the joy. Anyways you make me wanna diesel swap my baby too 😂
Love your fall guy truck. Wish she was mine
Me gusta la camioneta
Awesome truck! Looks good and sounds good!
I had a 1982 GMC Sierra with the 6.2 diesel. My 1990 GMC with 350 gas & 700-R4 trans with overdrive gets 16 mpg if I'm lucky. The 6.2 diesel in the 1982 had a Turbo 400 trans put in it back in the '80s, apparently a lotcof the 1st year 700-R4 (s) failed, and it was not uncommon to put a turbo 400 put in its place back then. No overdrive. 3.42 gears. It still got 17 mpg. Even if i dtove a lot in town, or idled it a long time while I was in the house, diesel mileage didn't suffer, that's one huge difference I noticed when I bought a gasser after i sold the diesel. Think i saw Sam Memmolo on tv years ago say instead of 14.7 to 1 on a gas, on a diesel, specifically at idle, some are near 100 to 1 air to fuel ratio. I said to my father, no wonder big rigs can run alll night
You should look into a block heater instead of glow plugs
Hi! Are you okay if I use a part of your video for my channel? I will mention you in the description, of course!
Yes of course
Wow nice truck man
Thank you
Replace the glowplugs. A couple are open. Few cyl have no preheat. My glowplugs died at 25 years and two were warped by the damned auto timer failure. New plugs start instantly. I used a horn button and 350A universal starter solenoid to heat the plugs. 38 years old she runs great!
I find it hilarious that he uses the club on that thing! xD
Why? obviously someone can break it and still steal my truck but guess what you can break into a house door but I'm sure you still have a door on the front of your house. I don't know why everyone points out that I use one as if because I have one I think it will 100% guarantee nobody is gonna steal my truck.
Nice videos
Has the big fuel gauge instead of the tach cause you know it sucks down fuel before you have to worry about to much rpm’s
Has big fuel gauge because the diesels never came with a tach from the factory unless it's like a C-60 big boy with the 8.2 diesel and I get 17 mpg
Pretty good! You can hear it starts hitting on a couple cylinders immediately. I had a 6.2 with terrible glowplugs. Before I changed them, I'd cycle it 2-3 times and it was still 15-20 seconds of cranking. One or two cylinders hit right away, but the rest would lag. After the plug change it starts a bit better than yours
Nice truck
Thank you!
how did you install the tachometer ?? i also want one but no clue how to install one o.n my 84 detroit
came pre installed on my truck it does not work anymore the sensor broke off and got lost, it worked with a magnet on the harmonic balancer
@@compressorhead02 hmmmm, ok. So magnet on the balancer, have to check online for it. Thanks
Those rims are as sexy as that square body ❤
thank you they are "Indi Mag Pros" if you were curious
No one cares about what you have. Just Get to the point.
How long does it usually take to start on freezing cold mornings? Does it take longer when it hasn't been used for several days?
usually no longer than a minute its pretty good at starting up and when it sits for a while it can take a little longer but has never not started.
As an aside, as a diesel owner, you should know not to call it a 'throttle'. Better to call it an accelerator, or, like some oldtimers do, a foot feed.
Beautiful truck
I like your name
not a bad name yourself
