I have 149 favorite Bee Gees songs. I can't pick one o
Great picks, Kathie!🎶
Early Bee Gees Recommendation: New York Mining Disaster 1941 If that title doesn't intrigue you, then I can't help you. (j/k) Enjoyed the reaction.
@@shwicaz That's on The Midnight Specials new YT channel.....but think their performances of I've Gotta Get a Message to You & To Love Somebody are even better.🎶
Old guy here, "Too Much Heaven" came out the year my daughter was born, I was 19, such a romantic and *_sooo_* in love with her mom it perfectly describes my feelings for her and I still get choked up every time I hear it. This is my first experience with your channel and I gotta say your heart felt reaction especially to Barry's vocal is exactly, *_exactly_* how I feel, I'm subbing I think I'm going to enjoy being here! 😀👍
Love and romance is a different experience and meaning for many of the young generations today!
When people could SING and harmonize without a tunalator. Love was such a beautiful thing. 😊❤️
So good to see other generations enjoy The Bee Gees.
Chills every single time.
My favourite BeeGees song is: 'How Can you Mend a Broken Heart?" (1971).
I used to ride around in my 1965 Mustang with my 8-track player playing Bee Gee's music for hours on end! Ah, the good old days!
Those were the great old days 🎉
The BeeGees did their own arrangements, writing their songs, producing. True geniuses
They did it all! Disco kings!
Amazing talent for music and what worked. Those harmonies were one of a kind.
Last I heard, Sir Barry Gibb was the most successful British singer/songwriter/music producer of all time - He is a musical treasure - C
This is true!
He Is from Australia
@@lapinke1 - Actually, no - He was born on the Isle of Man in Great Britain - The family did live in Australia for a number of years when the brothers were growing up, but they all came from England and eventually moved back there - You can look it up - C
They ALL wrote and arranged this.
@@KGohBoyTrue, but so is the first comment.
The brothers Gibb are a once in a lifetime perfection.
I feel so privileged to have grown up with their music in the 1970's, along with that of ELO and Carpenters, among so many other talented artists. Great songs, lovingly produced and performed superbly are what links them and makes their music timeless.
Myself as well
Yes welcome to the best generation of music.
All three Bee Gees equally talented, they were the greatest, they don't make music like this anymore!
💯❤️
They were amazing. The late 70s and 80s ROCKED. Times were so much simpler then. We had a blast ❤
Once you hear this song you’ll never be the same.
This is what happens when the younger generations get a taste of what true talent is. I was born in '79 and grew up in Brooklyn in the 80's where Bee Gees were played on the radio all the time until at least the 90's. We take for granted how great music was compared to today. They are pure magic.
There are almost no words for this song: ❤❤❤❤🎶🎶🎶🎶
No auto tunes, real live singing. That’s the success.
They are like an instrument.. Their harmony is beyond words... Love the reaction..
❤
BeeGees.....Gods wonderful gift of voices ❤❤❤❤❤
Look at the way that they standing so cool, relax, n smooth effortless singing…..
I was thinking the same thing. So natural.
"Too Much Heaven" is a song by the Bee Gees, which was the band's contribution to the "Music for UNICEF" fund. They performed it at the Music for UNICEF Concert on 9 January 1979.
Sorry to inform you of this but you just entered a very deep rabbit hole that you are not going to want to get out of I think you just joined the millions of people who love the BEE GEES. Welcome to our generation.
As beautiful as this song is, How Deep Is Your Love, I think, is one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded. It's absolutely amazing. As wonderful as Barry's voice is, Robin and Maurice are just as talented. While the Beatles and the Stones were cranking out top 40 hits, the Bee Gees were too. All three bands were staples of radio in the 60's. But there is nothing like sibling harmony. Pure heaven.
I agree!
There's a solid argument for that!
Yes
Speaking of The Beatles, check out the Gibb brothers on The Midnight Specials new YT channel performing a Beatles medley!🎶
I completely agree!!!
I have been a Bee Gees fan since I was probably 17. Im 61 now. They were truly the best ever. Always in my heart. RIP Robin and Mo. You are both so missed.
The Bee Gees and especially Barry (so fine) had the heart of every little Afro and hip-hugger jean-wearing Black girl in my neighborhood! This video still kills me, that hair, that beard, those slightly flared nostrils, that falsetto, and those slim hips in tight jeans oh my God! Finest man on the planet!!!
I have to agree with you Michellemuldrew827. At one time Barry was called the sexiest and most gorgeous man on the planet❤❤❤
Yes girl!!!
This performance is STELLAR.
You have sooo much company. So beautiful, so calming, what a message. ❤ the reaction
Most beautiful song your ears will EVER HEAR 😂
I Personally think How Deep is Your Love” but cant go wrong with either! Lol!
Disagree I started a joke!
@@allycatspreparedlife5313 Yes! The emotion in his voice feels real.
Also amazing that the profits of this song all went to UNICEF. The brothers were not only genius musicians, they also have a big heart, growing up so poor that's why they were forced to work by singing even as young as 9 years old.
Just an epic song, band and one of my favourite songs of all time. So pleased you liked it so much
Love your reaction! Now you see why we’ve loved them for so many years. They’re simply the best.
I've been listening to the them for 50yrs! My first cassette was "Spicks and Specks" and I've never looked back! ❤
Too Much Heaven & How Deep is Your Love are two of my all time favorites!!
Phenomenal brothers. ❤❤❤
Their voices were perfect, Barry could have had his voice classified as an instrument in itself
Just voices, no autotune or computers. Just raw talent.
But with many layers of vocals, most of it Barry's!
Never will there be anyone like the BeeGees again! Absolute perfection. All 3 of them ❤
You have so much more to discover. They are the best
The BeeGees wrote so many amazing lyrics, and with their own arrangements, took the music charts over for quite a while! I love it when you younger reactors discover the icons of my youth. Their unique style and sound will always be on my playlist. Love your comments!
One can almost imagine them as children, amusing themselves with their voices.
Only one Bee Gee left and that is heartbreaking!❤️❤️
Watched an interview w/ Barry & he was/is absolutely heartbroken he being the oldest & was the only brother left. That made me cry.😢I was around for not only them but younger brother Andy , too. What a talented family what joy they all bought❤
@@darlenecherbak4042Have you checked out the grand kids yet? :)
Andy
“More Than a Woman” is magic. The sway you get into without realizing shows just how good they are. Barry wrote and composed it.
Yep, Salvo, it's pretty darn hard to not fall under the spell of BeeGee harmonies and melodies. They've got a long and amazing catalog of songs.
More Bee Gee's please !!!There earlier stuff is particularly good.
Back in the late 80s a friend of mine asked me to go for a 4 hour drive so we bring a mutual friend home. He had a case of cassettes in the car of Slayer, Megadeath, Iron Maiden, etc. His mom had ONE cassette in that case - BEE GEES GREATEST HITS. He still talks about how I MADE him listen to the Bee Gees on Repeat, LOVE them and ALWAYS will!!!
This was my era, still in love with all the Bee Gees & Andy Gibb!
And, the songs Tragedy and Too Much Heaven were both written in the same afternoon!!!!
Good job Sweetie, there is no better music than the 70’s has to offer!
OMG! My❤️ truly warms and joys to the fact that another generation is getting to appreciate the musical geniuses that I grew up with. Keep listening, keep searching. There’s a lot of gems out there in that era. 70’s, 80’s🥰
I have watched a bunch of reactors react to this iconic song and I have not yet seen even one of them who wasn't blown away by this song, just like you, it's so stinking good. Bee Gees have released a bunch of great songs, and many are classics in their own right, but this one is special. It's like a tiny bit of heaven (if you believe in that stuff) was brought down to Earth for us to enjoy in the form of one of the most beautiful songs ever. Wow! ❤✌
There is nothing like family singing together… the similar voices. You can’t make that, it’s a freak of nature.
Aren’t they just amazing?! ♥️ As many times as I’ve heard this song over all the years it stops me dead in my tracks every time!! Pure fire 🔥 😊
The most beautiful song of all times.
I love how they are so in sync when they sing this one, each word is perfect an exact with all of them and of course, Barry's falsetto is perfect and they were all zoned in on this one. You could tell by Barry's eyes on that close up. PERFECTION.
You do realise that this is not live? They are lip sucking to a recording. It wasn’t possible for them to do this version live because it’s 27 overlaid vocal tracks - 18 of Barry solo and 9 of all three brothers together. Barry at his songwriting and singing peak.
@@maelilmc4079 Yes because of the orchestra but frankly I don't care, I have no idea about this version of the song, where it was or anything else about it. Irregardless, they were very into what they were doing whether live or not.
@@MollieC-uc1fk Absolutely they were!!!!👍😊
Take it from an old woman, it's such a pleasure to watch your reactions to our music from my days. Admittedly the best music ever!
It makes me really happy to see that you like this song. Do you realize I was 15 when it came out ? This song has aged well and brings back wonderful memories. Barry was so handsome and he still is. Thank you Salvo. ❤️
Real voices, real singing, real talent.
I am speechless, this is angels singing. Straight to my Apple Music.
Your face is gonna freeze that way!! 🤩 Welcome to the Bee Gees!
Some people are just so gifted! Writing songs and singing. I would have loved just some kind of gift!
I've watched several different people react to this song, and I never get tired of it.
BeeGees are absolutely amazing love them ❤❤❤
Loved your reaction!!
I love this song. I can listen to it every day.
Voices of the GODS....,.and I love love your reactions+!❤
One of my favorite songs ever, period.
Barry came up with arrangements to all of their songs. He's the only one still alive.
Barry didn't even talk until he was 3. Must have been saving his voice for all the music he was gonna make.
I’ve been I fan since the beginning I’m now 57 miss them so much 😢. Barry only one left
Glad l found you. You do an amazing job of describing each song but PLEASE do more of the BeeGees. They are the best trio EVER. I am sure you will LOVE them too as you listen to more of their songs ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Now you've joined the rest of us in our adoration of the Brothers Gibb! Absolutely INCREDIBLE singer/songwriter/musicians! Thanks for your reaction.
Their concerts were absolutely mesmerizing too! I just found my old concert program that's been tucked away since 1979. It's in perfect condition!
Love The Bee Gees
Bee Gees are the masters of harmonies. THIS was music! They can sing! Just voices no autotunes!
Incredible!!!!
They're legends!
I agree with you 100%!! Perfect song, perfect performance!
The BeeGees have an instrument no other band has... their voices.
That's a fact Ken.
Been waiting for you to get to this one.
There are 3 songs I absolutely love watching people react to for the first time. Rock Lobster, Hocus Pocus, and this song.
I knew you were going to love it for Barry's vocal display alone never mind the angelic backing vocals of his bros.
Salvo man I gotta say I love how much you love and appreciate good music with the distorted faces, the laughter, and the sheer awe.
Keep up the good work bro, you're awesome.
✌Peace✌
Appreciate that, I’m really enjoying myself, I hope that shines through.
Rock lobster??? That’s literally the song I hate probably the MOST.
This was before auto tune was even invented. It’s all them! They simply ooze pure talent.
Nobody can sing like that...except the Bee Gees. Nice to see so many discovering their immense talent.
"Fanny Be Tender With My Love" is another gem from the Bee Gees!
Best British group ever
Going back to that time, reliving this, It feel so great to have been born in that era, those were the best times in music!!
Fanatic! 🥰
You’ve been Bee Geed ❤
I remember when these songs first released, and drooling over the album covers with my friends. Their sound was so new and unique, we had never heard anything like them before! And they really stand the test of time. I can close my eyes, drift back to high school and sing along with every word.
The Brothers Gibb
(BeeGee's-Barry, Maurice and Robin)
also had a (4th) younger brother named Andy you should check out. He also had a very successful, but brief, singing career. He died tragically, very young.
Bee Gees wrote this song in the morning and Tragedy in the afternoon, just like that! All 3 brothers wrote and composed this song, they never realised it was going to be as big as hit as it was Due to the album sales UNICEF have received $M from this one song}. I have been listening to them since 1975 approx, went to disco's danced away with them and of course have watched Saturday Night Fever countless times. I was scheduled to see them in concert in 2003 in Brisbane Australia and heard the news on the radio Maurice had died. There will never be another Bee Gees ever RIP Maurice and Robin we all miss you always and Andy too. Carry on the good work Barry love ya!
These guys are simply amazing
A masterpiece. Simply as original and unique as you can get. I appreciate your reaction and as a boomer I get a thrill seeing youth appreciate what we took for granted at the time. ❤
When you have brothers that sing together their DNA makes the blend of their voices so pure. I was a teenager when the Bee Gees were making hit after hit. I think this song has to be my all time favorite. RIP Maurice and Robin.
So lucky to be alive back then and had a dad that was a dj so I’ve always had The Bee Gees ( and Andy) in my life ….. have you listened to I started a joke?? It’s amazing…. I loved you reaction ❤ could almost feel your joy
Robin's signature song. He wanted it played at his funeral and his son made it happen.
To much Heaven is my favorite song of all time. I'm a 68 year old male x DJ play guitar and keyboard. I tell you this to let you I know I know music. Berry Gibb wrote this song. Through the years I've played this song 100s of times. It never gets old.
I was team Berry in the 70's and still is R I P bee gee brothers we miss u guys......
I ♥ your reaction!!
Too Much Heaven is perfection to the ears and to the soul. Please react to another beautiful gorgeous love song LOVE YOU INSIDE OUT. thanks for that great reaction. ❤❤❤
Another great reaction! So many great songs from these amazing brothers, I hope you check out more! “Tragedy”, Fanny Be Tender With My Love”, “Nights On Broadway”, just to name a few. You can’t go wrong with The Bee Gees❤
Legendary Brothers Gibb! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Those Falsetto harmonies 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Their voices are like silk
A lot of babies were made to this song. We would slow dance to this on the lighted dance floor with mirrored ball slowly turning.
I AM be a Bee Gees Super Fan , and this classic rocker ain't ashamed to admit it.
Usually with me a song has to wear on me… but this song 🎶 I loved the first time I heard it and I never get tired of it…. I love ❤️ to see the reaction of people when they hear it the first time…
