Your poor generation has been so starved for good music, real music, that when you hear it, it overwhelms you. What we took for granted back in the 70s it's like manna from heaven to this generation. I'm glad you had a chance to listen to the wonderful pop music that we had from back in the day!
No auto tune here. It's pure talent. That's how it was in the olden days.
This was LIVE, no auto-tune. They were AMAZING. Perhaps because they were brothers the harmony and sync came more easily. They produced an astonishing amount of great music.
While auto-tune didn't exist yet, this is NOT actually live. There are nine layers of three-part harmony mixing, creating 27 voices, though the high falsetto voices are the most pronounced in the final mix. The track also has other backing vocals.
@@jgp7591 Shut up, they were angels.Coming in with your common sense and knowledge, pfff ;)
Not live as they were lip synching here.
Saying this clip is pre-recorded, which it most certainly is, does not reduce how amazing these men were. As songwriters I would put them up there with Lennon/ McCartney & Brian Wilson. Their vocal blend is perfection and this song in particular shows off Barry’s signature falsetto range. Pre-recorded or not, their performance on this song is simply mesmerising.
@@jgp7591 oh please!!! You are used to modern shit thats your problem
Being born in the 60s I was extremely fortunate to be around when the Bee Gees were at their best. The harmonies these three brothers had were a different class to anything then and anything now. They were also prolific song writers, not only for themselves but many artiest, you only have to listen this particular song to feel the heartfelt words they have used in the lyrics. To the Bee Gees THANK YOU!
I’m with ya!✌🏻 Best music ever came out of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Pure, natural talent!
Barry, Maurice, and Robin have been harmonizing like this since they were young children.
What you're seeing is, for them, effortless.
This is fake.
They’re THAT good! No auto tune just pure raw talent!
40 plus years of the brothers singing together. Over 1000 songs written by them. They donated this to UNICEF in the Year of the Child. Amazing and brilliant career.
It’s been over 60 years.They were amazing.Barry still is.
It's live
They are just that good
Bee Gess are the GOAT's
Its all the way live. Pure raw talent with live recording.
This was live and recorded only, no computers, no auto tune, no retakes!. This is pure talent unlike the junk you get now.
this was not a live one take performance.
@@mhicks31can I ask how you know that please?
@@r2drone227 because if you listen this is the same audio from the album which featured 27 vocal tracks. there was no way for them to do this live. yes there are live versions of this song, but they do not sound like this.
@@mhicks31 thank you. I wasn’t aware of that👍
@@mhicks31 Spot on. This is a music video not a live recording.
The gold standard of harmonizing.
Three iconic, talented, beautiful, brothers!
Bee Gees one of Gods gifts to mankind!
No auto tune. Just pure raw talent. These brothers r just fantastic. The harmonies r unmatched. They r all very talented as individuals but together it is too much. I love them.
Another Bee Gees video coming today :)
This is LIVE and yes they sound that GOOD on records AND live. It's called talent. Something you don't see anymore.
This is the studio version. Yes they’re awesome but cmon.
A) it is not LIVE and B) there is plenty of talent to find nowadays….it may not necessarily make it to radio or television anymore but there’s still a heap of talent to find.
Simply put ... Yes! 🥰
AJ,I totally agree,with you.
@@rolynik... lmao...the Bee Gees are once in a lifetime group.
The sound of the 70s, the golden age of music!
They are that good. Live or not.
To this day no one has ever compared with their Harmony.
As far as harmony...Everly Brothers are up there also
Understand you are witnessing pure perfection !! These guys harmonized so beautiful it sounds like one person !! Then Barry’s flawless voice in lead vocals makes this song one the greatest songs ever !! EVER !!
The only bad thing about this song is that it ends.. I never get tired of listening…
Proud to claim I grew up listening to ALL of Bee Gees (Brothers Gibb) songs. Bought all of their 78's & 45's. I was born in 1960, the best era to be a teenager.
❤❤❤❤
The 60's were the best!!
I am a historian of The Bee Gees from their Australian releases and I can assure you they never issued any 78's in Australia. They issued 13 45's.
@@happyolddude I guess he meant 33 1/3 rpm not 78 rpm.
@@marksmess136 They started their recording career back in 1963 and that 45 sells for about $Aus1,000.00 yes youn read correctly $Aus1,000.00.
Born in 61, couldn't agree more!
These guys were old school, sing anything at any range and make it look easy
Welcome in the Univers of the Bee Gees. They had so many Songs. And every Song is a surprice. I grow up with the best Group ever. They can switch there Voices like nobody else. Amazing Voices Amazing Song Amazing Bee Gees. 🕺🥰👍
Unfortunately Barry is the only one left both brothers either side of him have passed, as well as his younger brother Andy. Not only were they a great family group they or Barry wrote so many songs for so many music artists. True talent, and I miss them so much.😢
It's makes me so sad. I wish we have Barry a very long Time .🕺🥰👍
This was the song that they gave the rights to UNICEF to help children of the world and to this day $10 Million had been donated and still going strong.
pure talent. this is live no auto-tune, auto pitch nothing just talent.
Sadly it wasn't live. It was quite a complex recording.
This trio was pure, raw talent - no 'Auto Tune' whatsoever!
They brought us close to 50 years of amazing, musical experiences - adapting their sound to each and every decade they encountered together.
This track was donated to UNICEF - and their track "BLUE ISLAND" was donated to children that fell victim to the war in Bosnia, which went on from 1992 - 1995.
Three humble, generous musical geniuses that never learned to read music - yet, they wrote, sang, produced and arranged so many hits (for not only themselves, but many others, as well ..) year after year... and they graced us with some of the tightest harmonies in musical history!💖💖💖
Kathy here, I love when I see the younger generation listen to the music I grew up on. I am 68 years old and remember very well all the nights spent at the clubs dancing to their music, fast and slow. Great memories and great times. Thanks for the review.
This is pure talent folks!
When I was 7 years old I remember hearing this on the radio when it came out in 1979. Great song and even greater times back then. Just My Thoughts...
They wrote this, for, and donated it to Unicef. It’s made millions, for the charity, over the years.
The Bee Gees were regarded as one of the most important and influential acts in pop-music history. They were known for their three-part tight harmonies. Barry Gibb the brother in the middle was considered as the best falsetto of the era. Paternal twins Robin in the left long hair no beard and maurice in the right. Barry and Robin shared leads, maurice not as much. They wrote over 1000+ songs for themselves and for other top artists. They had 9 #1’s, they had 6 consecutive #1’s and 20 in the top 10’s. Their career spanned 5 decades, they were inducted into the Rock& Roll Hall of Fame, The Songwriters Hall of Fame, received countless awards, produced their own records and for other top artists. Barry Gibb is second only to Paul McCartney as the most prolific songwriter in the history of music. All in all Bee Gees are the most phenomenal band. Please react to LOVE YOU INSIDE OUT, Thank you. ❤❤❤❤
Haha, just one thing, it's fraternal twins, not paternal. Paternal is the side of the father as opposed to maternal, the rest is spot on. I have to say, Barry is one of the most engaging and sweet guys, he misses his brothers and has said would give his fame and fortune away just to be back with them. If you haven't seen it, I recommend watching the interview done just after Robin's death, it is heartbreaking but very well interviewed. I think it's titled "The last Bee Gee" and he even talks a bit about his youngest brother, Andy.
@@utha2665 oops, you’re correct and I should know because I’m the mother of paternal twins more commonly known as identical twins. Robin and Mo don’t resemble each other much, Lol. Yes, I have seen the interview “The last Bee Gee”. It always brings me to tears.
Maurice might not have been a headliner himself but he was married to one of my faves, Lulu! (To Sir With Love).
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but all proceeds for this song were donated to UNICEF. Not only were Bee Gees in a class all their own in songwriting and harmonies, they were genuinely generous human beings. I have loved them since the 60’s. I listen every day. Keep exploring, you will love them and get hooked like the rest of us. Great reaction. Thank you.
Barry, the one in the middle, is the only surviving brother now…
😢😢😢
This is a studio mastered performance but remember that this is also from a time when it was still analog recording on reel-to-reel tape. Other than echo and maybe some overdubs it's all them. I saw them live in concert in 1978 and their live performance was as good as anything that came out of the studio. There are also talk show clips where they bust out parts of this from their interview chairs, so it's all them.
I actually prefer their live performances to their studio recordings!
I grew up with this great group & had a lot of their albums. Most people react to their disco era. My favorites are from the 60's-70's. Some of their early hits were "New York Mining Disaster 1941", "Holiday", "World", "And The Sun Will Shine", "Really & Sincerely", "The Singer Sang His Song", "Lonely Days", "Melody Fair", "First Of May", "I Started A Joke", "I've Gotta Get A Message To You", "Massachusetts", "To Love Somebody" etc.
how can someone start a critique on a group that you know nothing about. you are embarrasing , do your research , all time Hall of Fame group, and fabulous song writers!
Say no more -
No autotune then just raw talent
I love ❤️ watching all the different reactions… some people thought it was one person singing before they saw the video.. the harmony is so perfect…
Beautiful song.
bee gees how deep is your love
Coming soon!
Grew up with them, this song never gets old. Such Class !
Hands down, Barry Gibb has the best falsetto EVER recorded, and the Bee Gees have the best harmony EVER! Yes, they were THAT good!
Love the Bee Gees thanks guys!
They are just that good. Love the reaction
Great real reaction you two. Love these guys. 6 consecutive number 1s, songwriters hall of famers, R&B hall of famers, 100 top 10 hits throughout the decades. Best group ever. Their 1989 live medley is definitely worth seeing, to hear their incrédible harmonies live.
Thank you!
They’ve been singing since they were young kids. You can see those videos from way back then too! They were adorable as kids. and their music over the years, with all their changes in style. is no less than amazing.
"Nights on Broadway" should be your next Bee Gees reaction
Just pure magic, right there!😍
So much reactions to this masterpiece in music history. FIRST TIME HEARING??? NO WAY.
This was donated to UNICEF and has made them millions. It was the first song ever donated to a charity. They donated Blue Island to help with the aftermath of the Bosnian war particularly the women and children as well. Incredible people. Autotune wasn't invented yet. One music producer said they thought like one person and knew instinctively how to move in and out at the microphone for best results. They preferred singing into one microphone and always did medleys at their concerts in that way.
They are the greatest "Boy Band" of all time. There familial harmonies are unmatched by any band in history. There vocals are timeless. I would like to see another Daneliya Tuleshova Reaction soon. Thanks
Added!
Hard to believe that they performed for over 50 years...
would have been longer if they lived longer...RIP Maurice, Robin...and even Andy
They are just that good.....
there music catalog is huge! and totally worth a listen!
Yes, they are brothers and they started when they were children. They came on the music scene in the 60s and they climbed to the top of the charts and had a lot of number one hits.
The Falseto Kings!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This was a live recording done during a practice session for a UNICEF concert. It is their real voices, no mods, no auto tune nothing but true talent.
Lip syncing off the album track.
DEAD WRONG
No auto tune all talent.
Bee Gees are incredible Bee for this great song had been donated to Unicel.❤❤Bee Gees brothers.
Love the beegees
The Bee Gees were one of my favorite groups before they focused on disco. I was never overly find of disco, so my interest in them waned when they switched to it. But I do acknowledge and have great respect for their decision to reinvent themselves and go with disco. It was a smart move artistically and business-wise. They were never a lightweight group, but with disco they went to the top, practically being the gold standard for disco. It's hard not to admire that.
Agree that their decisions were admirable, but must stress that they didn't decide to switch to disco. The 5 used on SNF were already written as part of their next album. They were used by Stigwood on his new film about disco, and the brothers got wound up in all of the disco hype. They considered these songs contemporary R & B. These songs defined the best of disco but comprised only a short period in the 50-year musical career of the Bee Gees
@@LizzieRD Yeah, I found out some time after posting this that it wasn't necessarily a bold career change decided upon by the Bee Gees.
No auto tune. This pure talent.
This song is so beautiful, Barry, Robin and Maurice singing in falsetto voices. Enjoying your reaction
The harmony has a crystal "ting" to it. Incredible
I think Bee Gee is the most incredible, generous group .They gave the loyalty of this song to the Unicel.❤❤❤
The BeeGees donated all royalties, and it was millions, to the United Nations Children's Fund.
*One of the most iconic groups of all time. RIP to the twins....only the lead Barry left alive.*
I assure you that it is live, no autotune just fantastic talent.
They have been singing together in harmony since they we kids.
You should check out the story of how the BeeGees became famous: it's illuminating.
They are the best of the best. So many amazing songs.
They're just that good
❤They ARE that good💞
That's the bee gees for you , they had so much variety in there music from Disco to smooth ballads , magic .
They were the best. Do Fanny Be Tender, One, Alone, Rings Around the Moon, Wish You Were Here, New York Mining Disaster, Words, To Love Somebody, oh there were so many great songs
They have been singing since they were little boys!!!
No auto tune!!!!!!! In my opinion the best group around. My favorite a few song From Whom The Bells Toll, Emotion, This Is Where I Came In, and More Than A Woman. Barry is the last Bee Gee he is in the middle. Robin and Moe beside are twins and both past.
Bee Gees #1
NO ONE can do a falsetto like Barry Gibb..... And they were THAT GOOD....
nice to discover this old classic from B&B, from back in the day. Aww, They wer so young!!
Love this song. Love seeing you two reaction. I saw them in concert back in the 80’s
Thank you!
The Bee Gees were famous for disco music! They also had many other hits! Barry in the middle is the only brother alive!
Great band. They wrote brilliant songs .Stayin alive ,jive talking,
A lot of younger reactors don't realize that the Brothers Gibb had been performing since the 1950's. There are a few videos floating around of them when they were just kids... and even back then, their harmonies were the epitome of perfection. Oh, and if you listen to their earlier recordings, like "Massachusetts" or "I started a joke", you'll see Robin (no beard, on the left) doing the lead vocals. Just all around great voices, RIP Robin and Maurice... and their younger brother Andy, who had his own career also.
The Bee Gees are 3 brothers who were born on the Isle of Man. They then moved to Manchester then to Australia and finally came back to the Uk before heading to the USA. They have had numerous songs over many genres ('Staying Alive' was from their disco era) and decades. They have also written hit songs for many singers.
BEE GEES One hundred songs Billboard top 10, including songs written for other artists and covers of their songs. The only artists to have number 1 songs in four decades - 60's 70's 80's and 90's
The fabulous Brothers Gibb, SUCH talented musicians! Thanks for your reaction.
OH YES!
Bee Gees. My first ever concert, Detroit, MI. Listen to music before Saturday Night Fever.
They literally ARE JUST THAT GOOD. You should hear them when they were children in the 50’s through their R&B stuff of the 60’s
The advantage of being brothers was they wrote their own stuff and had all the practice time they wished. Singing live held no horrors for them. This was a live rehearsal with the orchestra for the unicef concert .
The Brothers Gibb were HUGE in the 70s, but had hits in the 60s & 80s, as well. Barry (middle) is the oldest, then Maurice (on Barry's left), and Robin (on Barry's right). A fourth brother, Andy, chose a solo career, and did quite nicely. Andy was the youngest, and the first to pass away. Sadly, Barry, the King of falsetto, is the only one who is still with us.
some big hits in the 90's also
Even though you wouldn't know by looking at them, Maurice and Robin were twins.
@@chadheckman2693 Fraternal twins
@@LillyMarz777 obvi.
I grew up listening to the Bee Gees..They never made a bad song. Originally from England but moved to Australia in the 60s with their parents. There is a statue of the boys in their hometown of Redcliffe, Queensland.
Barry Gibb is a majestic lion.
Make you fall in LOVE OVER AND OVER AGAIN ❤😊
Barry Gibb one of the most respected producers in the industry
Almost everything they recorded was written by them. Additionally they wrote hits for other artists too. They made falsetto singing an art form.
you guys are an awesome couple, I love the reactions, hope you go all the way.:)
Thank you so much!!
You young folks are digging the Bee Gees! A seventies staple! Glad to see your musical tastes are evolving!! 👍👍🎶🎶🎶🎶😭😭😭😭
The beegees wrote music for many famous singers it's amazing their display of musical abilities.
Even their vibrato is exactly in sinque--pretty crazy
All the stuff going on today I wish we could bring that (to much heaven) and music back. ❤
