I know. Consistency is hard for some people. I know for myself. Hard work will get you far, but consistency is an inate ability and some people just don't have it regardless of effort.
She was, but even without the knee injury I doubt she’d have made the 2012 team- even as an alternate. Too many others were more consistent and stable across the apparatus.

She has always been a real fighter - no matter what happened!!! She always got back on apparatus and did her very best.
probably one of the most on and off gymnasts I’ve ever seen. she was either really great or really bad. there was no in between.

Curious to why she never changed her beam dismount. Just about ever performance she has done, she’s fallen on the dismount.

Just not that strong but a great athlete when it came too beam she needed that push just a little more strength throughout the beam.
