Righteous and the Butterfly was cool for the sake of bringing back the old style, but it felt too much like Slipknot. Their best era was easily Superbuick; best performances and energy. XX / XIII can never be recaptured either. It was both during the peak and downfall of the Nü-metal wave. Jman leaving the band heavily crippled them, yes Waylon was awesome but Jason contributed so much to the aesthetic of the band

blank I don't think age as anything to do with it . There are vocalist that are older and they still sound amazing live.
Romy Taylor To an extent age can be a factor but in this case it's not age. I mean there are vocalists that are the same or a little bit older than Jeff and they still sound great live.
There's a lot of factors that should be taken into consideration that as affected his vocals.
Xerox is their best song by far. And the heaviest
One of the easiest songs to play too. Which is wild.
