5 Decades of Innovation

A film exploring innovation and technological progress through five decades from the 1960s to the 2000s. Through rare archive and new footage, experts explore the defining innovations at Renault and in the wider world that reshaped the modern age.
Expert interviewees include Mark Champkins, the inventor in residence at London's world-famous Science Museum, and innovation consultant Olivier Ezratty, as well as journalists Ben Oliver and François Allain. As well as assessing the main global innovations of the era, the film looks at the key developments at Renault. The Renault 16, Renault 5 Turbo, Renault 11 Electronic, Megane, Scenic and Laguna II all feature as milestones during this remarkable fifty years of innovation, along with a look at Renault's new range of Electric Vehicles.
