- The tale of Renault's short lived but stunning coupé is brought to life using interviews with the key players in the cars development, including ex Renault Head of Design Patrick Le Quement and Matra's Phillipe Guedon. With a colourful gathering of over 200 of the iconic cars at the famous Montlhery race track, the Avantime's 10th anniversary is the centre piece of this programme. Enthusiasts and experts swap opinions about what prevented this car becoming as much of a success as it perhaps should have been. Even more of the car's story is provided by Renault Avantime insiders Thierry Metroz and Carole Hurel, while current boss of Renault design, Laurens Van Den Acker gives his verdict on what makes this unique car so special.

Oh - I so need an Avantime! So longing to drive one again. Most amazing car ever made - this is what I want to see at my Renault dealer, not more of those horrible SUVs that spread like a poison in the car-world today, killing off all the cars with genuine greatness.

As an American, I want an Avantime. To have the first one in the US would be a headturner.

Love the Avantime! Seriously my favorite car of all time!. I kinda wanna sell my Mégane sport 225 to buy one!
Its the only car that Captain Kirk and Spock had to ask what year they had beamed down to. They thought it was 2119, not 2019. When told it was an Avantime they wanted to take it with them. But I wouldn't let them as they didn't have a PayPal account.

People just want a dull suv... the Avantime was amazing and very charismatic, but people is uncharismatic and boring... sad
