2023 Ohara School of Ikebana Exhibition Tour

In honor of the Japanese tradition of cherry blossom viewing (Sakura Matsuri), the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Ohara School of Ikebana presented a spring exhibition to coincide with the blooming of our cherry trees. Ikebana, also known as the “way of flowers,” is the art of Japanese flower arrangement and is subtle, sensitive, sophisticated, and meditative. It utilizes flowers, leaves, and branches, as well as unexpected and/or unconventional materials.
