    Wonderful, your moribana sensei. I found it soft, elegant, sober. I have a question. Some teach that Shin must be twice the width plus the height of the pot, others (Kimiko Abe) say once and a half the width plus the height. The lady once guides the width plus the height. Are these measures optional?

      Thank you for your kind comment and question.
      The style shown in the video is from Ohara school of Ikebana. Now, depending on the school you are learning, the length of the Shin (We call it Shu-Shi) would differ. Eventually, I believe the most important thing is to observe the characteristics of your flower material to find the best suitable length based on the instructions from the school that you are following. Hope I answered your question.
