Love the story McMahon!
For me, what's less painful than selling too cheaply is just to give away watches. Rather than to take a loss, I just pass on as a gift. Now, that's hard to do when the watch is expensive, but most of what I gave to friends were all fairly budget. I'm quite happy at 5 right now.

I think you should keep the story going Jeff. I cant remember when it was but I think a couple yea ago you were making these short videos of short stories involving watches but not with the same character. You only showed a watch on an orange table top for the entire length of the video. I enjoyed those too and this reminds me of them. Keep it up and good luck with the obsessive addiction. If it makes you feel better I got a preowned Dievas titanium in the mail making my bloated total 11.

This topic hits hard today. This week I’ve gone into a watch strap tailspin. Currently I’ve ordered a few rubber straps this week and sending all unused natos out the door. Never was happy with most of those. Hopefully the USPS will bring some relief this afternoon.

You're not the only one. Watch strap/bracelet anxiety is real, too. All of this goes back to having so much stuff that it becomes clutter, both physically and mentally. I sold an OEM bracelet today for the Seiko Alpinist that I actually wore while shipping it out, and I honestly felt relief. When I get rid of watches I no longer want, I usually throw in straps and spring bar tools that I've paired with them as well. Reducing clutter brings clarity to your mind.

Very true! I love the way they look, but often I feel they are too short on me and not great comfort wise. I have kept an OEM one that came with a watch. The rest I put on eBay for a very cheap price. They were piled up in a drawer and basically clutter. It was a relief getting rid of six of them and only getting two rubber straps in return.
