well, a new era will come, but I will be too old to appreciate the new cartoons, I think. This Renaissance of Cartoon Network will never happen again and the new ones coming out now, like Craig of the creek, V & V, Total Dramarama, Summer camp island, Mao Mao, Tcats Roar, etc, just make me so sad. They're bad and stupid. Mao Mao is not as bad as the others, same with summer camp island. but the others are so disappointing for me.
Steven Universe is such a revolutionary show. It gave us characters and backstory no other cartoon dared to toy with! It showed the struggles of losing someone you love in a deep way other than showing the characters getting over it in a day. It showed the conflicting feelings of finding and coming to terms with who you are and what someone expects out of you. Steven Universe brought so many people together and created such a good community. The golden age of cartoons is over and now all that is left are bad shows like teen titans go and the reboot of thunder cats. Adventure time is over, gravity falls is over, we bare bears is over, and the shows that showed potential got cancelled like ok ko let’s be hero’s. I get that some people didn’t think it was good but I loved it. Steven Universe didn’t just set the bar for cartoons, it IS the bar for cartoons. Maybe one day Cartoon Network will redeem itself and make more awesome shows. But for now we will just have to keep praying that the alright shows like Craig of the creek, mao mao, and summer camp island will create a new era and become something greater. After all... shows don’t start out awesome, there is always some filler. Even Steven Universe had filler in the beginning, the shows first words were NOOOOOOOOOO! So even if it’s over, everyone will always remember the masterpiece that is Steven Universe. Dude I watched the finale episodes right when they came out and they were so good. I love Steven Universe and am sad it’s ending but I like how they ended it off
gosh darn it I...Well I liked the show and I learned to like the ending though I hope steven and his friends reunite some day. Leaving his possibly tax free home and family to seek his fortunes in the oh so kind...You know what I loved the ending, Stephen will find himself probably while licking covid-19 away, and then they will have good times together as the timeless crystal gems who found each other on the planet earth. If I think of that as realistic then it was a great ending and that's how I'm going to see it. Conny and the Crewneverse will be there, Or at least the gems will be...I have my peace with it, whatever happens they all have their lives to live.
I understand that Steven Universe isn't the best show to walk on this earth, and I understand that it has a lot of flaws, but the biggest problem with the criticism regarding Steven Universe is that the critics try to do everything they can to ruin a fan's experience. Despite how valid criticism may be, almost every video I've seen regarding the issues with Steven Universe is incredibly intense. They try to shame fans of the show for liking it, and try their best to stop you from enjoying the show. I've never understood how anybody saw that as "doing them a favor." Sure, now we understand that there are flaws with the show, but why do you need to go any farther than that? Why do you need to go out of our way to try and stop us from enjoying what we enjoy? I can still like a show, even if it's bad. Plenty of critics are so fueled by their hatred of the fandom that they think the fandom defines the majority. "I know there are *some* people who are nice in the fandom", "I know that there are a FEW fans that are good people", etc. That's just not the truth. It's a given that the internet makes the minority louder. We don't all need to have our eyes opened to the "terrible" reality of this show. You can call it bad, you can hate the show, nothing is stopping you from having that opinion. So why do you feel the need to stop us from having our opinions? And before anyone says it, I do understand that I am being hypocritical by saying that this behavior is present in a lot of the critics while also saying that they shouldn't define the worst aspects of the fanbase as the majority. I know that a lot of critics did used to like the show, and I know that there are plenty of critics who actually made this criticism in hopes to see their criticism applied for the betterment of the series. Although as I have said, the internet has made the minority louder. Which unfortunately results in these more intense critics being given more recognition than the ones that truly want to be constructive.
It's the same thing with RWBY RWBY Obviously has it's flaws but some RUclipsrs just exaggerate those flaws and make RWBY seem like the worst show in the world Take Adel Aka for example he has made 200+ basically calling RWBY a bad show But to him it seems like it's just constructive criticism It's clearly not criticism if you need to make 200+ videos explaining why people shouldn't watch RWBY He clearly hates the show. But since its the only thing getting him views and so many people agree on it. Nobody ever gets to watch RWBY and see if it's a good show because people call it bad. Point is If someone says a show is trash i'd recommend watching it and seeing if *YOU* like it. Don't ignore it because someone else says it's bad. Experience it for yourself then you decided if it's bad or good in your opinion, don't let anyone else decide that for you. That's all. Thank you and goodbye.

It would always bring a smile to my face to see Steven livving his best life. I grew up with Steven, and legit after the series ended I ended my cable subscription, cuz SU was the only thing I watched on TV. I'll miss watching new episodes with the Lapidot Cafe, and talking about them with my friends. After this year, I'm going to college, and parting ways with most of my high school friends for a while. When I saw this show first air a few years ago I thought I was stupid and I was 8 or 9. Now I’m 13 almost 14 and wish I kept up with the show. I binged all of it along with the movie and future and now ima do close to just breaking down because this was such a good show and I was able to relate to Steven so much.
same i watched/ enjoyed it a when i was younger but i didn’t have cable so i couldn’t always watch it. I got kinda scared when i was 9 and saw lapiz and jasper fuse so after i didn’t make a effort to watch it(i love Garnets fusion song i memorized it hehe).But now I’m 13 and i wished I could have watched it growing up instead of binge watching it now, It really could have helped me. I finished everything and i wish there was more i miss it so much :(

I haven’t watched Steven universe yet. I wasn’t big on TV back when it was on. I’ve only seen the episode where Steven chases after everyone with the perfect breakfast. Even just one episode and this show is obviously one of the best shows ever made. It’s sad to see it go, but it’s good they didn’t drag it out like the simpsons. May it forever live on with repeats and sad nights getting lit up by Steven and the crystal gems. I’m going to binge this entire show, because it looks amazing. why can’t everything be like this. thank you, SU for changing so many peoples lives for the better, and about to light up my sad nights for a while.

my little cousin was watching some show that was on cartoon network but nothing compared to the shows I watched when I was his age. so I told him he should watch steven universe. and this kid said "what's that?" I face was shocked so i blessed this child by showing him an episode and now he's obsessed. I was so proud patted my head and said "you did good older cousin."
Out of all the shows on Cartoon Network this one edges out regular show and all the other shows for having the best story line and the most emotion into the plot and and there’s isn’t one static character in the whole show. This one had some of the most amazing music and one of the most creative plots that only a small child could imagine. Beings that burst out of the ground and live in a dystopian world while Steven wants to help everyone escape and be whoever they choose to be and learn to love people around you and he learns the most special power is to be a human and have the ability to grow up and become himself and choose who he is. The power of a human.
Steven Universe was an amazing show, even though i was only able to watch it fully back in December, i did watch some episodes back in 2016 due to jailbreak and stronger than you. This show honestly gives me happiness and i'm really sad it ended, but happy i was able to spend the past 6 months getting super deep into the fandom. I will forever love Steven Universe with all my heart
There are those shows like this one which can be written off as silly or just for kids but they hit notes and emotional levels that others just cant. This one among others which I grew up with do that and always will. They can make people feel better, help them cope, and they just in general make you feel maybe nostalgic to a point especially now. These shows which will always hold a special place in my heart were how I got through the day they were one of the only things I looked forward too when getting home. I thank the creators and the wonderful community that existed around these for this life long gift.

Whenever I hear a nice calming song, I am somewhat happy and find myself enjoying it, but whenever it comes to SU songs, it just hits different. It has always managed to make me feel... It involved into a memory that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Past my childhood, even when I'm a boring adult. People argue that its okay because I don't own rights to all of my music(I own majority), but even if they are able to get away with using my work because of youtube's system, doesn't mean its not frowned upon. gosh darn it I...Well I liked the show and I learned to like the ending though I hope steven and his friends reunite some day. Leaving his possibly tax free home and family to seek his fortunes in the oh so kind...You know what I loved the ending, Stephen will find himself probably while licking covid-19 away, and then they will have good times together as the timeless crystal gems who found each other on the planet earth. If I think of that as realistic then it was a great ending and that's how I'm going to see it. Conny and the Crewneverse will be there, Or at least the gems will be...I have my peace with it, whatever happens they all have their lives to live.
I understand that Steven Universe isn't the best show to walk on this earth, and I understand that it has a lot of flaws, but the biggest problem with the criticism regarding Steven Universe is that the critics try to do everything they can to ruin a fan's experience.
Despite how valid criticism may be, almost every video I've seen regarding the issues with Steven Universe is incredibly intense. They try to shame fans of the show for liking it, and try their best to stop you from enjoying the show. I've never understood how anybody saw that as "doing them a favor." Sure, now we understand that there are flaws with the show, but why do you need to go any farther than that? Why do you need to go out of our way to try and stop us from enjoying what we enjoy?
I can still like a show, even if it's bad. Plenty of critics are so fueled by their hatred of the fandom that they think the fandom defines the majority. "I know there are *some* people who are nice in the fandom", "I know that there are a FEW fans that are good people", etc. That's just not the truth. It's a given that the internet makes the minority louder. We don't all need to have our eyes opened to the "terrible" reality of this show. You can call it bad, you can hate the show, nothing is stopping you from having that opinion. So why do you feel the need to stop us from having our opinions?
And before anyone says it, I do understand that I am being hypocritical by saying that this behavior is present in a lot of the critics while also saying that they shouldn't define the worst aspects of the fanbase as the majority. I know that a lot of critics did used to like the show, and I know that there are plenty of critics who actually made this criticism in hopes to see their criticism applied for the betterment of the series. Although as I have said, the internet has made the minority louder. Which unfortunately results in these more intense critics being given more recognition than the ones that truly want to be constructive.

RWBY Obviously has it's flaws but some RUclipsrs just exaggerate those flaws and make RWBY seem like the worst show in the world
Take Adel Aka for example he has made 200+ basically calling RWBY a bad show
But to him it seems like it's just constructive criticism
It's clearly not criticism if you need to make 200+ videos explaining why people shouldn't watch RWBY
He clearly hates the show. But since its the only thing getting him views and so many people agree on it.
Nobody ever gets to watch RWBY and see if it's a good show because people call it bad.
Point is
If someone says a show is trash i'd recommend watching it and seeing if *YOU* like it.
Don't ignore it because someone else says it's bad. Experience it for yourself then you decided if it's bad or good in your opinion, don't let anyone else decide that for you.

pssst... Steven Universe isn't even a bad show. These "critics" usually just nitpick over irrelevant things, wildly misinterpret things, and hurl insults around towards fans and creators of the show. It's called bad faith media criticism, and honestly doesn't need to be taken seriously.

"it's over isn't it?" Something pearl said I will never forget. This show helped me through my parents divorce and just bad mental state. It would always bring a smile to my face to see Steven livving his best life. Pearl sometimes was just a mood, amethyst was just always amazing, lapis was more of a mood Rudy is just pure, Sapphire is just butiful, Garnet was always just sitting there like she own the place cuz she does, and finally Peridot was like a little angry slice of pie

This show was my entire childhood. I feel like a part of me ended when it did. It taught me so much about myself and the person I want and am trying to be. Thank you, Steven Universe. For the tears, the laughter, and the amazing memories. I’ll never forget this show
I grew up with Steven, and legit after the series ended I ended my cable subscription, cuz SU was the only thing I watched on TV. I'll miss watching new episodes with the Lapidot Cafe, and talking about them with my friends. After this year, I'm going to college, and parting ways with most of my high school friends for a while. Good times
When I saw this show first air a few years ago I thought I was stupid and I was 8 or 9. Now I’m 13 almost 14 and wish I kept up with the show. I binged all of it along with the movie and future and now ima do close to just breaking down because this was such a good show and I was able to relate to Steven so much.
same i watched/ enjoyed it a when i was younger but i didn’t have cable so i couldn’t always watch it. I got kinda scared when i was 9 and saw lapiz and jasper fuse so after i didn’t make a effort to watch it(i love Garnets fusion song i memorized it hehe).But now I’m 13 and i wished I could have watched it growing up instead of binge watching it now, It really could have helped me. I finished everything and i wish there was more i miss it so much :(

I haven’t watched Steven universe yet. I wasn’t big on TV back when it was on. I’ve only seen the episode where Steven chases after everyone with the perfect breakfast. Even just one episode and this show is obviously one of the best shows ever made. It’s sad to see it go, but it’s good they didn’t drag it out like the simpsons. May it forever live on with repeats and sad nights getting lit up by Steven and the crystal gems. I’m going to binge this entire show, because it looks amazing. why can’t everything be like this. thank you, SU for changing so many peoples lives for the better, and about to light up my sad nights for a while.

my little cousin was watching some show that was on cartoon network but nothing compared to the shows I watched when I was his age. so I told him he should watch steven universe. and this kid said "what's that?" I face was shocked so i blessed this child by showing him an episode and now he's obsessed. I was so proud patted my head and said "you did good older cousin."

Out of all the shows on Cartoon Network this one edges out regular show and all the other shows for having the best story line and the most emotion into the plot and and there’s isn’t one static character in the whole show. This one had some of the most amazing music and one of the most creative plots that only a small child could imagine. Beings that burst out of the ground and live in a dystopian world while Steven wants to help everyone escape and be whoever they choose to be and learn to love people around you and he learns the most special power is to be a human and have the ability to grow up and become himself and choose who he is. The power of a human.
Steven Universe was an amazing show, even though i was only able to watch it fully back in December, i did watch some episodes back in 2016 due to jailbreak and stronger than you. This show honestly gives me happiness and i'm really sad it ended, but happy i was able to spend the past 6 months getting super deep into the fandom. I will forever love Steven Universe with all my heart

There are those shows like this one which can be written off as silly or just for kids but they hit notes and emotional levels that others just cant. This one among others which I grew up with do that and always will. They can make people feel better, help them cope, and they just in general make you feel maybe nostalgic to a point especially now. These shows which will always hold a special place in my heart were how I got through the day they were one of the only things I looked forward too when getting home. I thank the creators and the wonderful community that existed around these for this life long gift.

Steven universe is the ONLY thing that ever managed to make me genuinely sob crying and not because of fear or embarrassment, but because of sadness and happiness
It will forever be a special show to me because it has managed to do something to me that nothing and no one had every done to me before
Whenever I hear a nice calming song, I am somewhat happy and find myself enjoying it, but whenever it comes to SU songs, it just hits different. It has always managed to make me feel... I don't know some sense of calmness I have never felt before. These songs are special for me and I will forever remember this show in my heart

I hate and can't accept the fact that the moment I got into SU was when I saw a post about the final episode airing. Then I binged the entire series and felt extremely guilty and sad because I missed out on such a fantastic show, and I was *that* close to being part of the hype. Then I showed the show to my family and they adore the show. Thanks, Rebecca. You're the reason I almost cry when I start listening to SU music. Then again, you helped make said music, so even Stevens, heh.

I remember first watching this show. I knew, for sure, that I'd found my next obsession. But it evolved into something more meaningful than an obsession. It involved into a memory that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Past my childhood, even when I'm a boring adult. I'll remember Steven, his optimistic attitude, and perhaps one of the most important lessons he has taught me:

There aren't really words to describe my sadness that its over, happiness that it happened, and nostalgia for hearing this song mix...the thought of how steven grew up with us and how we'll never get to see those characters mature anymore...and yet knowing steven is off somewhere on those mountains finding himself and discovering himself makes me happy....and yet I still cry remembering all the good times I had watching him as a kid
I recently just bought the entire series on DVD(The movie, the first series, the “Future” series) and my mom said that it was a waste of money but the nostalgia and joy I get from watching it is ✨IMMACULATE✨
