We also take a look at how to cut out hair from the background and separate it as a layer we can control. Yeh, It is a bit tricky to use because you're relying on the program to detect the hair and it has it's moments where it goes a bit weird lol but just keep trying and no worries!

Your walkthrough is very thorough, super helpful. However I am stuck "Filter for Adjustment Layers" (around 3:26 of your video), it doesn't open up the menu for me, it just says "No layers match the filter." Any idea what can be done to fix this?
Actually think I'm clicking on the wrong menu (the little adjustment icon down next to layers). I don't see the toolbox with the adjustment option at all
@@manx306 yeh just make sure you have the layer selected and to get the adjustments you just go to Window and Adjustment then that will give you that menu
This is good...but if you change the bright background to a darkone...you will be able to see lot of fringes on hair with this approach. Can you check, verify and suggest. May be new video.
