Story over everything! I've been searching for something inexpensive and small to carry my full loadout in. Always good to hear your opinion on what you do/use!
Thanks for the advice/tip! I love hearing that from folks with a platform. I use a Canon XSi and take some fairly good photos for a n00b. Release date was 2008!
Hoods do much better as lens protection, than UV filters. However, a mist filter would be pretty sick. Super cinematic, and works well for portrait style photos, not that you do any of that, lol. It does some pretty amazing things to video though. PK makes a ND/Mist that is sick. Really dig this look into what you're using. Love my EOS R. Very cool you're able to fit all that into the one Pelican. Fitting 10 pounds of stuff in a 5 pound bag is a fine art. Especially w no damage 😂
Hey Talon, great video. Really like your setup. Quick question though: Why did you go with the regular Pelican Air 1535 over the TRVL version of the case? The additional storage in the lid is perfect for a laptop/iPad plus notepads, chargers and small miscellaneous items. The adjustable foam inserts also do fit in the TRVL version of the case. Was it the extra foam in the lid to protect your gear even better, the point that made you go with this case?
Great video, love the message. I wonder though if your videos are getting suggested to me even as a subscriber because you aren't uploading 4k. I wonder if youtube is trying to push everyone to 4k.
I would just like to say that somehow my notifications were turned off for your uploads. Not sure how that happened. Does RUclips turn off notifications?
I have my old manfroto with a video head but I never travel with it and it just sits in my office now until I have the need for super smooth panning shots
Random question.. the SEI hat that you’re wearing is the same like on your website to buy? I was curious how the back closed, if it was a snap back or loop clasp
Jim (GoonLife) and Roger (QVO) just did a similar video. Good to hear those that are successful follow the same mindset of work ethic, consistency and authenticity to make good videos and run successful RUclips channels. Not all about the gear and equipment. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

One of the best behind a camera! Thank you.

Bad Ass Loadout man!
Just what I needed man! A good old fashioned gear vid! Love it, thanks for sharing!
Great video as always dude! Awesome to see what it takes to make these videos happen.
I love pelican cases. Been using them since there inception.
Dude, when you did the distinguishing characteristics between begginer, intermediate and pro, it was spot on. I'm definitely la beginner
Great video. Thanks for sharing! I need to get my gear set up in one case like that. 1080P for life! 😂
Have no interest in camera gear but gotta support the best channel on the platform no matter what lol
Focus on the story … well said … nice setup
YEEEEEEEET
Putting AirTags inside bags is a great way to help if bags ever get lost at airports etc

It’s true. That gear don’t matter. My favorite photo camera is my 5D mark iii and 5D mark ii and I think I take pretty good photos with them cameras
Please do an update video on your camera set up my dude!

Extra foam and it’s what was available

Thanks for sharing! What video editing software are you using if you don't mind me asking? and btw my Kimbo will be #310...next spring.
I use Final Cut Pro X 👍🏻
For your EOS R the audio do you use auto or switch it to manual with the rode mic? I get a lite hissing here and there with my same rode mic
Auto always

Do you have other tripods? Been looking for a review or recommendations.

Yup same as the site. They are snapbacks
@@TalonSei Thank you!
Where did you get the sweet patch wall?
I put up a bunch of felt pieces for noise dampening and patches happen to stick to it
Do you save all the individual video files or just the rendered video?
Just the completed video unless I shot something epic then I save the actual files.
@@TalonSei thank you
Yeah gear really doesn’t matter I mean I have been using an old GoPro and a canon M 59 for my Channel
Put an air tag in it you won’t ever lose it
Nothing on lights?
Got the sun ☀️ 👍🏻

Algorithm defeated
781. 781 videos on my channel. All but three are shot with my phone.
But guess what? 781 videos no one cares about. Go get outta here
