I would just like to take a moment and thank all of you for the kind words. I'm truly grateful you all enjoyed the video and for some perhaps finding something within it that you yourself can use in the future in one of your enclosures. For some of us this goes beyond a "hobby" and becomes more of "a way of life." I see some have requested more in depth videos of my collection, I guess it's something I could perhaps look into, but honestly I'd hardly know where to start, may just leave it in Dav's capable hands, he's already mentioned a possible follow up video. So again thank you all for the support! And as Dav would say "Rattle On!"
Large collection, unique animals, well-planned enclosures and a very responsible keeper and breeder. Really amazing, and it is rare for those four factors to meet together. I was watching it with my corn snake, and she is thanking you for this amazing tour too.
So happy to see people really giving so much respect to their animals by making sure they live in amazing enclosures :) we need more people like this in the community!
Once again Dāv delivers the best! This tour was amazing, and I really enjoyed seeing how you took the time to show in-depth "snap shots" of the enclosures and why each enclosure truly is "personalized" for each species kept. Looking forward to seeing more!
Wow , those enclosures are phenomenal. He's really talented and imaginative , plus knowledgeable in making enclosures that are right for the animals in them.
Really great to see these enclosures, thank you Dav and Brad. To Brad - I hope you don't mind me "borrowing" some of your design ideas. Consider it a compliment.
I love when you show off cool herp rooms like this! It's one of the many reasons I love your channel! Congrats on the 100,000! You should really have a million by now tho
This is amazing. I love seeing keepers that are in for the love of the natural environment and of the animals. Not just turning a profit. Plus his skull (crystal and real) are just awesome.
Whoohoo! New lesson plan material!!! This is yet again a stellar experience. Dav you are truly gifted. People feel so comfortable with you. Brad this is epic, I am going to use this in my class to show environments etc. Thank you both!!
Wow. Such amazingly cool ideas for setups. Very artistic and like you said, a lot of thought and a lot of love went into those. That mans wife is a saint too. Who else gets half their home to dedicate to reptiles/amphibians?
Life has been hectic I haven’t been to show u as much support as you deserve but this video yet again is another certified banger so much knowledge portrayed in such a entertaining fashion you are a reptile god please keep making videos
As always , absolutely awesome video , and as for brad what a humble gentleman he is , absolutely love his dedication and love and care to his animals , keep up the awesome work guys , andy from the uk 👍😎👍
This guy has an amazing setup, that's the kind of thing I aspire to have in future for my herps. I especially liked the salamanders with all that live wild moss and substrate in a really naturalistic setup which is what I try to do with my amphibians, so much more fun to watch them interact with their environment and it looks amazing. Even down to the collection of skulls (I wish mine was half as good but I'm limited by the wildlife we have here in the uk, I prefer to collect my own rather than buy or import specimens from animals that might not be quite as ethically sourced) I can really tell this dude has awesome taste. The more I see of minnesota, with all you awesome people the more I'm tempted to move there
And the hooror dvds, the weapons and rock/mineral collection... It just keeps getting better.. I swear if I could describe my perfect habitat it would be this, plus a forge and workshop out back for extra enrichment
@@angelab904 Dav's tagline is 'Rattle On' And welcome to what I think is one of the top three best reptile youtube channels out there- very educational & entertaining. Other two are Kamp Kenan, Snake Discovery.
Welcome fellow Rattler! "Rattle On" is something Dāv came to through personal struggle. He reflected on the lives of the rattle snakes and realized that if they can overcome such severe obstacles in nature, then he, too, could overcome his obstacles. And so the phrase "rattle on" was birthed, from the inspired spirit of the Dāv. These are my "top" channels: * Dāv, of course * Kamp Kenan * New England Reptile Distributors * Brian Barczyk * David's Feed * Chrisweeet * Bryce Broom
@@Attia1701 I follow them too! Thx for the welcome. I highly recommend Chris Hardwick. That's his channels name too. Also if you like crocodiles and alligators I recommend Gatorland and Primitive Predators. They are awesome channels!
Awesome video dav, watching this just brought me back to one of my childhood memories when i visited my first true "hobbyists" home (Stan Schultz) i remember he had a quaint little 3 bedroom bungalow where his kitchen, living room and 2 of those rooms were lined up wall to wall with metal shelves which were full with different species of tarantulas and scorpions
I've watched this video a few times now to get inspiration building my Colombian BCIs enclosure. Wanna do a DIY and want vertical space, as I think he will use it as an adult and Brads stuff really sticks in my head, both inside and out. Very practical and pragmatic, with the peel back burrow window and closet turned enclosure but also looks great!
I've been bit! By the herping bug. I am fostering a snake for a friend and now I'm all over youtube learning and falling in love with snakes I found at a friends, and the local small shop close to me. Can be an expensive hobby but I've got the bug. 😊
What a cool man cave! That’s what I need to do! Buy a duplex and have 1/2 of it a reptile/amphibian house!! Salamanders outside where I grew up got me into loving amphibs and reptiles today, they’re so colourful and I thought it amazeballs that they were land and water creatures! He’s doing this right, for sure, the enrichment for the blind aquatic snake, the building the tanks for the critters he wants first, incredible, there’s some serious creature love!
I’m doing my beardie enclosure close to the way he did his western one… I’m collecting stuff but I am so jealous of his mini signs! I NEED that mt. Dew one! Lol it’s so beautiful tho frfr something to go off of for sure! 🖤

You can definitely tell the love and passion you have for your animals.
Absolutely amazing animals and enclosures. I would love to see an in even more indepth video someday!
Thanks for coming by Dav! It was fun!
It was a blast! Let's not have it be 8 years til the followup lol
Can’t wait for the next tour!
Brad, I'm going to subscribe to your page with the hope you'll show us more of your great collection! Thanks for representing this hobby so well!

That dude should get paid by the zoo's to scape out their enclosures. He's got some mind blowing/amazing setups.
What a genuine nice guy. You can tell he loves his animals
Yes, I too have a room full of the skulls of my enemies.
lol!
So happy to see people really giving so much respect to their animals by making sure they live in amazing enclosures :) we need more people like this in the community!
I wish we could have gotten a longer more full length video of his collection! His place was amazing!!!
that is a keeper who just keeps for the pure enjoyment of the whole experience!! awesome place!!
this is one of those guys that I hope all my animals I sell will go to.
Exactly! And I'm glad some of mine have gone to him.
I know without a doubt the animals that he's gotten from me are living the good life!
Once again Dāv delivers the best!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Brad has done such a fabulous job. Very much how I like and think these beautiful animals should be kept. Much respect 🐸
Enclosure goals! I'm feeling super inspired, love all the artistic details. A little extra thought and effort goes a long way!
Wow , those enclosures are phenomenal. He's really talented and imaginative , plus knowledgeable in making enclosures that are right for the animals in them.
That little snapper is like gimme food gimme food! Also awesome enclosures!!
That guy is amazing and definitely got so many good ideas from his enclosures. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride sir.
Really great to see these enclosures, thank you Dav and Brad. To Brad - I hope you don't mind me "borrowing" some of your design ideas. Consider it a compliment.
WOW! Nothing more I can say! The attention to detail in those enclosures is what all reptile keepers should strive for. I’m ashamed of mine now!

What a lovely gentleman.
I just rewatched this video for the third time, it’s still so awesome to see Brad’s herp room! Thank you for taking on us on this tour !!
This guy is awesome. This is what I aspire to build.
That whole place just feels comfortable, for both the human and the animals. I loved everything about this. Thanks for sharing!

So amazing!! His love for the hobby just shines through all of his enclosures and the care that hes taken with them. I just want to live there!💜
Amazing this is one of the coolest reptile rooms ever-you are so lucky to be able to see it in person
OMG love his place and how much he cares about the animals! Not to mention those enclosures are super rad!!! 🐍
Definitely close to what I'd want as a dream home! Beautiful reptiles!

I love Caudates. I keep many species and Ensatinas have only been bred a handful of times, fingers crossed he produces babies.

I had that blacklight cobra poster from Spencer's as well. Bought it in the late mid-late 90's.
I will have a room like this one Day. It will be filled with my beardies lol. I have 4 and hopefully more to come.
