    I'm taking my Oral and Practical exams on Wednesday, I used this video after passing my Knowledge exams to help me prepare. Thanks for making these videos Bryce, I really appreciate them. I feel pretty good about my O&P test Wednesday, but It's so hard to not be nervous!!

    Thanks again Bryce I think your videos help a lot of people. I just took my O&P on power plant last week and missed one question. I had a 84% on my written test.

    Awesome video as always, it'd be cool to see how one would approach studying for the questions you missed on your written exam and narrowing it down (or get close to the subject matter) to know exactly what to study when we go to our O&P examinations.
    And are the O&Ps strictly based on what you missed or a majority of it will be on what you missed with a little bit of questions in other subjects outside of what you got wrong. Ty if u see this and reply! My entire class has to test for powerplant and general at the same time for our O&Ps 😓💀

    Hey Bryce! Thank for all your videos. They helped me a lot tremendously. I have my power-plant O&P coming up (I got 70% on my written) and I got the new codes. Do you know what can I study for the Power Plant O&P? I have the new 2024 Test Guide book with the new codes. Is that enough? Or should I go over prepware & 8083 too? Thank you

    I have my O&P for airframe and general coming up soon and im mostly studying my codes by going through the jeppesen book and highlighting questions that are related to my codes. do you think that is a good way to study or should i study the whole subject that I have codes in?
    Also, some codes are pretty simple to understand and I can find those questions in the jeppesen books, but some of my codes are harder to understand and cant find any questions in the jeppesen books that are related to that code, any tips?

      I think you are going about it the right way. Although studying the whole subject can't hurt. Good luck on your test

    Thank you for helpful information. Does Oral test also have pass/fail standard such as written (70%)?

    • @brycebuildsit

      Yes, you must get a 70 on each section.

      @@brycebuildsitYou mean 70 for each GEN, PWR, AFR, right?

    • @brycebuildsit
      @brycebuildsit  3 месяца назад

      Yes, 70 for each oral section and 70 for each practical section. So 70 on G oral and 70 on G practical, 70 on A Oral and 70 on A practical. And so on

    My issue is that I passed all of my writtens at the tail end of the PTS curriculum and all of my codes are under that system, and Ive tried going through the new codes and trying to find the matching ACS code but alot of them are so ambiguously written or vague that I cant match alot of them up. Not to mention there are new systems or sections that I was never taught that I need to go and try and find info for but that are literally missing from the new 8083 B text books. I got screwed over as I literally graduated from AIM in july, and the change over obviously occured aug 1st and so Ive had to work this whole time just trying to save money to go take the o&ps and its not easy coming up with $1000 when I was a full time student for 2 years.

    • @brycebuildsit
      @brycebuildsit  Месяц назад

      You can still find the PTS and check the knowledge codes that way but to your point the O&P is going to be over the ACS so you will have questions from the updated test.

      @@brycebuildsit Thanks, yea I knew that, but unsure if my asa/jepp test guides with the oral sections in the back are still the same or are they all new questions? Im also having trouble finding these new sections like water/waste systems which arent in the 8083s, unless its in the newest - C version which I only have the older and the -B series.

    Hello, I took my written exams one year before, but the codes on my exam are different, are AMG no AM.I.K1, so could you let me know what I must study?

    • @brycebuildsit
      @brycebuildsit  3 месяца назад

      If you took your test before the acs change. If your codes will be based off the practical test standards. You can do the same thing. I did in this video but instead of arrest for insane , the airman's certification standards reference to practical test standards. You will find a lot of the information is the same.

      As long as you have been studying your oral and practical study guides and understand the material, you will be just fine. Relax eat a good breakfast your brain needs it, get plenty rest the day and night before. Have some confidence in yourself and remember even if you fail its not the end of the world. You just have to come back and retest what you missed.
