You need to be in a different portal to get it. There are two...going through the portal which appears green in the maps has it I believe

Hey, in the save station north of where you get the summoning tome and wizards urn and under the warp station, to the right of there is a merchant shop in castle A. In castle B though, there's a boulder blocking the path and the crushing stone for the whip doesn't do anything. do you know how i get past it?
