Joaquin and River Phoenix should surely be on the actual list, and not just an honorable mention. I'd put them in the top 5. River died young, but still managed to build quite a reputation, and Joaquin is one of the very best actors working in Hollywood today.
That's a good call but I'd say the rest of Rivers siblings became more well known after his death. Where as everyone on this came to prominence at around the same time
Agreed!! Honestly, even having died so young, River was still easily one of the best actors of his generation, and if he was already that amazing and making such interesting film choices in his early 20s, I can only imagine what heights he would have gone on to reach if he had lived! And yes, Joaquin is freaking incredible as well, and widely regarded as one of the best actors out there with good reason. You just don't find that immensely high degree of equally measured talent in most families!
There is also Shirley MacLaine & Warren Beatty. Michelle, Lori & DeDee Pfeiffer. Bill Murray's brothers although in a few bit parts. Olivia De Havilland & Joan Fontaine. Julia & Eric Robers. Rob & Chad Lowe. Matt & Kevin Dillon. Jeff & Beau Bridges. Macauley Culkin & brothers. Ralph & Joseph Fiennes. James & John Belushi. Sean & Chris Penn. Michael & Virginia Madsen. Jennifer & Meg Tilly. Carradine brothers. Stacey & James Keach. Jason & Justine Bateman. The Redgraves and no doubt many more.
Ebenezer Marley Your list is way better. Many of these are real legends. Although I’ve always found the Wayans were overhyped. But I must mention John, Ethel, and Lionel Barrymore. They were the very first Hollywood family and all three were legends. Lionel and Ethel both won Oscars too. The first two siblings to do so. Even before Joan Fontaine and Olivia de Havilland.
They left out so many more famous ones:the three stooges;Joan Fontaine and Olivia de Havilland;Lionel, Ethel, and John Barrymore; Shirey Maclaine and Warren Beatty ;Vanessa and Lynn Redgrave; Ralph and Joseph Finnes; Belushi brothers;Brian, John, Joel, and Bill Murray;Eric and Julia Roberts;David, Keith, and Robert Carradine; Jeff and Beau Bridges;Wahlbergs brothers ;Arquette siblings...
+Luciana Jeny I quit watching as soon as I saw you mention that they left out the Bridges brothers. They clearly don't have their shit together with this list!

I'm thrilled that you not only included the Marx Brothers, but made them number one! They were just amazing and I hope anyone reading who isn't familiar with them will make an effort to see their work. My favorites are Horse Feathers and Duck Soup. They actually started out as a musical act. Their mother, Minnie, wanted to keep them respectable, but they would get out of control, sometimes, and start goofing off, on stage. She tried to squelch that, until she noticed that the audience liked their cutting up, more than their singing. So, they became a comedy act. They had scripts for their shows, but rarely followed them very closely. They had such natural comedic talent that their ad-libs were very often better than the scripts!
To be fair, there is only one of Phoenix who is famous. Joaquin. He is pretty spectacular. His brother River only made one movie before he died. This list also goes by exposure, not talent. You really can't put Olsen sisters next to Gyllenhaals and Baldwins and Wilsons and Cusacks.
***** Alexis is a transgender powerhouse... But if you want to know one of her most famous parts, she was the man that shot at Jules and Vincent in pulp fiction.
That's just one... She has an extensive background... And she's just one of 4 that includes a recent Oscar winner... So I think the Arquettes deserve a place

Stellan is the father, but they have another brother Bill that stars in the Netflix series Hemlock Grove, which is awesome. Would have been fine with them on this list over the Olsens.
How you forget about The Bridges, The Wahlberges and Charlie and Eddie Murphy that crazy. And at the beginning they show Donnie and Mark and didn't even put them as honorable mentions.

Elizabeth Olsen is more prettier and talented than her sisters, she is an amazing actress. Meanwhile the Olsen Twins, well they're not bad but their movies are pretty lame IMO.

And that are just some of the most prominent roles of them
The first sisters are, to say the least, iconic. Ashley is getting increasingly popular with movies like Godzilla and Avengers. I think they DEFINATELY deserve there position

Camps2630 Hell no! With Charlie Sheen, the show was really enjoyable and made me laugh so much. Now that he's gone and having Ashton Kutcher in show, I seriously think the show sucks now.
Jon and Ben Foster should be on here! And I wish River, Rain, Joaquin and Summer Phoenix were actually on the list instead of just honorable mention! Same with Ben and Casey Affleck! And Seth and Aaron Manning should be on here as well, at least in honorable mentions!
Candace Garrett Oops, Sorry, I meant to say Shawn and Aaron Ashmore instead of Seth and Aaron Manning (both are pairs of twins, but one pair is actually famous and the other pair I knew as a kid), sorry was reading the comment's below and got people mixed around!
You didn't mention the Bridges. Arquettes, Walhbergs and some of the honorable mentions should have been on the list. Oh well. Another ball dropped on this one, MJ
@Tatár Tamás: In addition to those two, the following siblings have also won Oscars. 1. Ethel and Lionel Barrymore 2. Shirley MacLaine and Warren Beatty 3. Ben and Casey Affleck
littlemissmello although when you "introduced" them you didn't show Zeppo on the screen XD The guy you showed was the romantic lead in A Night At The Opera I believe. Not Zeppo :)
Nazarene Wyckoff It's funny that you'd say it because although I have a soft spot for sweet Harpo (and I had a crush on Chico for some reason when I was a bit younger but let's not talk about that), it's always said that Zeppo was the funniest but that he was supposed to play the straight man (it's why he wanted out and quit when their contract with Paramount ran out - he didn't get any of the spotlight). Although all the brothers had their own unique thing, Zeppo's humour was too much like Groucho's and because Zeppo was younger and came later, there was no room for him left anymore. But I'll have to point out that Milton was Gummo. Zeppo was called Herbert :) The order is first the dead brother Manfred (1886), then came Chico (Leonard - 1887), then Harpo (Adolf - 1888 - although he changed his name to Arthur during WW numero uno because it sounded too German), then Groucho (Julius - 1890), then Gummo (Milton - 1893) and last but not least Zeppo (Herbert - 1901). I'm a legit Marx Brother nerd. I've read every book, every article, saw every film and documentary. I've heard all the secret audiofiles and looked through all the archives. I had my Marx Brothers phase when I was sixteen XD It was what I did on my Saturday nights (and every other night). Now I'm 21 and although I've calmed down a bit, they still have a special place in my heart (I'm always very intense with my obsessions: for a couple of weeks/months I will obsessively find out EVERYTHING there is to know - I will almost literally not rest until every little detail and the entire timeline is straightened out for me - but after that my phase is over, the obsession finds a nice soft spot in my heart and will remain there forever so I can win trivia questions in Trivial Pursuit). I've had an intense Marx Brothers phase, but also a Beatles phase, Doctor Who phase, Peter Pan phase, Harry Potter phase, Learning Korean phase, Michael J Fox phase and many many more (and way weirder ones). It's useful sometimes though! I can read Korean and I can make decent conversation because of that weird phase - the weirdest was that it started out of nowhere. I didn't know anything about South Korea (this was right before Gangnam Style too so I didn't even have that to go on) but I saw a weird commercial from South Korea on RUclips, saw their writing system and decided I wanted to know how that worked. Two days later I was full on studying Korean, something I did every day for six months straight. I'm a weird person.
They showed brothers Randy and Dennis Quaid, who played the Miller cousins in the movie " The Long Riders" which also had brothers David, Keith and Robert Carradine playing the Younger Brothers, and brothers James and Stacy Keach playing Frank and Jesse James respectively. On a side note, cousins Christopher and Nicholas Guest played brothers Bob and Charlie Ford.
Yes, thank you for choosing the greatest brothers to be the number one! I absolutely loved them growing up! Too bad it's so hard to find their all movies, I'd love to see them again.

never cared for the show, even when he was on it.
Sietse van de Kerkhof
When nothing was on I'd watch it, but people watched it just for Sheen, that's it really.
Camps2630 Hell no! With Charlie Sheen, the show was really enjoyable and made me laugh so much. Now that he's gone and having Ashton Kutcher in show, I seriously think the show sucks now.
Wait, the show is still there?
Patrick and Don Swayze
Bill Murray and Brian Doyle-Murray
You only did this for Hollywood due to the fact the chuckle brothers would have won hands down
I can't believe any of these honorable mentions were bumped off the list by the Olsen twins.
Shirley MacLain & Warren Beatty
You didn't mention the Bridges. Arquettes, Walhbergs and some of the honorable mentions should have been on the list. Oh well. Another ball dropped on this one, MJ
What happened the the Culkin brothers, Macaulay, Rory and Shane.
WTF!!! No Julia and Eric Roberts???
How could they forget them!!!
Joan Fontaine and Olivia de Havilland are the only siblins who both won an academy award. Not to mention that they are hollywood legends. :/
MacLaine and Beatty both won an academy award too (Beatty for directing).
Ramon Krikke Yeah you are right. I meant academy award for acting :)
@Tatár Tamás: In addition to those two, the following siblings have also won Oscars.
1. Ethel and Lionel Barrymore
2. Shirley MacLaine and Warren Beatty
3. Ben and Casey Affleck
I don't think I've ever agreed more with your number one pick! The Marx Brothers are legendary!
littlemissmello although when you "introduced" them you didn't show Zeppo on the screen XD The guy you showed was the romantic lead in A Night At The Opera I believe. Not Zeppo :)
littlemissmello Milton, " Zeppo" wasn't really a actor, but their Mangers.
littlemissmello But I Think Harpo was the Funny one.
Zeppo was called Herbert :)
The order is first the dead brother Manfred (1886), then came Chico (Leonard - 1887), then Harpo (Adolf - 1888 - although he changed his name to Arthur during WW numero uno because it sounded too German), then Groucho (Julius - 1890), then Gummo (Milton - 1893) and last but not least Zeppo (Herbert - 1901).
Nazarene Wyckoff this comment was way too long, I'm sorry.
Aaron and Shawn Ashmore 😊 Tia, Tamera and Tahj Mowry 😊
Seriously not even av honorable mention of OSCAR WINNERS Shirley MacLaine and Warren Beatty??????
You're right! And the Fiennes brothers too...
The Phoenix's are bae
+TheFashionbugs yes she does. Does yours?
Wayans Bro deserve more than honorable mention...jus saying
the wayans bros should have been in the top 10
They showed brothers Randy and Dennis Quaid, who played the Miller cousins in the movie " The Long Riders" which also had brothers David, Keith and Robert Carradine playing the Younger Brothers, and brothers James and Stacy Keach playing Frank and Jesse James respectively.
On a side note, cousins Christopher and Nicholas Guest played brothers Bob and Charlie Ford.
ralph fiennes and joseph fiennes
yes definitely
Yes, thank you for choosing the greatest brothers to be the number one! I absolutely loved them growing up! Too bad it's so hard to find their all movies, I'd love to see them again.
James Franco & Dave Franco ❤
How did i not know that Bones and Zooey are related? They even look alike. Mindblown.
Nice #1, but I miss the Skarsgård brothers.
What about Ralph Fiennes and Joseph fiennes?
Wait, when they say "Honorable Mentions" does that mean honorable mentions for the number one spot, or honorable mentions for the list
You know, that's a pretty good question...
I never knew that the girl from Maleficent is the younger sister of Dakota Fanning! She's really beautiful. :O
