"A certain friendly neighbourhood hero travels to the medieval world of dimension 626 in an effort to enlist the aid of its resident in the fight against Morlun and his evil family. Unfortunately, the resident he's looking for seems to have turned into a terrible monster and is being hunted by the ferocious 'Kraven The Hunter' - who now mistakes our hero for the monster. The main riff is note for note the climax of the solo in Iron Maiden's "Sign Of The Cross". But I love that song, so good repurposing here!
I've heard that riff elsewhere besides that song too.

Such an amazing song! This song topped the X rock radio station charts in the start of 2021 when it was released for the first time in Iceland and stayed nr.1 for several weeks!
This was the first new album I listened to in 2022, and still sits at Number 1 on my top albums list. Nothing even comes close to giving you everything you need in a Metal record. These fantastic videos are just a bonus.
chorus reminds me of "Cry Out For A Hero" by beast in black. Great song!
This came up on my spotify daily mix and I immediately recognized the Iron Maiden riff! Really cool opener. It worked for me.

At loss for words, still, after 2 years. There goes a mid-40s dude, plunders the masquerade box of his son, grabs shield and sword and poses through the house. This is just utter brilliance and reminds me on the sound I once loved but had forgotten over the last 30 years as the sound lost its soul and its balls. Thanks for bringing great, straight forward, epic, melodic, pedal-to-the-metal sound back into my life.

On the Sign of the Cross topic... I just love when Sign of the Cross gets to that solo bit! X-Factor doesn't get enough praise for the amazing album it is. I remember buying and listening to that album when it came out. I was a kid and took it to a vacation with my parents and I my trusty Sony discman. I think that solo start something like 8 minutes after Sign of the Cross is dragging us down with the slow tempo and getting us to a dark place... Still enjoying the song, but the vibes get heavy, especially because Iron Maiden's sound was unusually different on that album and that was the first song of the album, so it hits in a different way... Then that solo comes along, adding so much energy and lightening things up! No wonder the fans here repurposed it for a power metal album! Cool song!!! |And up the Irons! 🤘🤘

I was at a metal festival and i was the only one under 18 cuz i am 14 and i was with my cousin and he knew i listened to power paladin and he was good friend with the singer so i got he meet him and he was a fun guy

The chorus is from Crying Out for a Hero and the main riff is from Never Surrender - the bridge before solo. These guys are true fans of Beast in Black, lmao

Seeing this makes me miss Iceland. I lived there for 9 years. Left in 2008 (long story). But it's one of the few places where the people were great and never really took themselves to seriously, and REALLY know how to have a good time. Don't know what it is like now in the world of "insanity and woke" but I hope it didn't change.
Unfortunately the "insanity and woke" reached iceland, everything has changed and now not one person knows how to have a good time anymore. This band is the only good thing I've seen in years, the woke people and feminists have ruined the country just as they did to the rest of the world except it's worse here. please don't come back.

Finally! A power metal band that has something else to sing about besides Lords of the Rings!
The lyrics and band name are typical Flower Metal cheese, and their album title looks like a power metal name generator was used, but the vocalist actually has some power with his range, instead of sounding like a castroto. Musically they are also bringing it, unlike most *European power metal bands. They remind me a bit of Lost Horizon actually.
