This is all so nice to hear! I bought my first Blur record in 1991 when I was 11 years old! Almost 30 years ago! Then the Gorillaz first record came out when I was 21. I am 41 next year. Time is crazy but of course, music is timeless. I hope you are all enjoying Song Machine Vol1 !!!
Graham Coxon is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time
When Blur vs Oasis was at its peak in 1994, I remember all the magazines and news were hailing Graham as the greatest British guitarist since Johnny Marr.
Any guitarist knows how good Coxon is. He has his own signature Tele too.

Seeing Damon involve all the starstruck fans on stage, jumping around arm in arm with them, wearing their silly glasses, posing for pictures and running backwards and forwards, not acting like an entitled celebrity but knowing that this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for them and embracing that is just pure love

I was born the year Parklife was released, unfortunately never had a chance to see them live because of where I am from (Mongolia) but now I decide that as soon as this pandemic is over, I will definitely do everything I can to catch them at any city the play.

Totally agree, and he’s a pretty good songwriter too. In fact I think that Blur are one of the most under-rated bands as well. That ridiculous spat with Oasis during Brit Pop put them somehow on the same level, when in reality Blur are in a completely different league. Damon Albarn is without doubt an outstanding musical talent, something he has proven time and time again not just with Blur but also The Good The Bad and The Queen, Gorillaz and solo.
The silly spat created by the magazines, I know. Damon Albarn is in the same league as Beck, Thom Yorke, Jack White...he’s a treasure.

Blur es mi banda favorita. Desde que era adolescente; sufrí su separación y me emocioné cuando los vi cantar en los Juegos Olímpicos. Cuando estuve frente a ellos, en vivo, sentí la nostalgia de verlos, aunque era la primera vez que los veía en vivo. Era como regresar a mi lugar feliz. A la salida, me fui llorando a mi casa, fue hermoso.
Te entiendo tan bien... Yo empecé a escucharlos cuando tenía 12 años y forman parte de la banda sonora de mi vida y tengo asociados tantos recuerdos a ellos y a Damon que no podría describirlo con palabras... El poder de la música ☺️🎸♥️

One of the things I love a bunch of The Magic Whip is the personal aspect and introspection it has (and yes, also the good work of Graham by connecting all these “forgotten” music pieces).
I feel immensely happy for having the opportunity of attending this show. One of these experiences that will accompany you forever. Without any doubt.

I’ve been to a concert in 1995 or 1996 and I’m still in love with Blur. I will go to your next show, wherever in the world.
