Here's the issue: Tens of thousands of films similar to this one have been lost forever -- destroyed -- and many others are at risk. Our company preserves these precious bits of history one film at a time. How do we afford to do that? By selling them as stock footage to documentary filmmakers and broadcasters. If we did not have a counter, we could not afford to post films like these online, and no films would be preserved. It's that simple. So we ask you to bear with the watermark and timecodes. In the past we tried many different systems including placing our timer at the bottom corner of our videos. What happened? Unscrupulous RUclips users downloaded our vids, blew them up so the timer was not visible, and re-posted them as their own content! We had to use content control to have the videos removed and shut down these channels. It's hard enough work preserving these films and posting them, without having to spend precious time dealing with policing thievery -- and not what we devoted ourselves to do. Back when Christmas meant something, sadly today it's about money. People dont realize that religion, not just christianity, held America together during the darkest hours of world war two. Today we have nothing holding us together.
@@videodistro It has the sound of a ballpark organ. It's not the magnificent pipe organ found in cathedrals, which makes this different from most historical recordings of classic carols like these. The stars of this video are the choristers; the organ is barely heard while they're singing.
@@videodistro Well, it's got 2 61 note keyboards, white on black lower octaves on both manuals, with keys that latch, 4 sets of 9 drawbars, a rotary control to the left of the drawbars, and flat fronted keys. A Quatrefoil frieze at the upper edges of the cabinet. If it's not a Hammond C2, it's an illegally close copy of one, which seems "unlikely"
@@videodistro what other organs had a octave of inverted black and white keys for presets on the left, drawbars laid out as such and the lid folding just so? Laurens Hammond disliked the Leslie speaker but couldn't stop the pairing of his organ with it.

...LOOK! ...THERE'S A LIGHT ABOVE! ...LOOK!!
This was nice
Behold the mighty Hammond organ.
Would it be possible to remove that electronic clock thing so that we can read the subtitles?
It's on all this channel's videos
I know, but sometimes it obscures important parts of the picture, and it isn't really needed - all the players have their own timer thing.

What's with the graduation hats ?
I wondered about that too. I thought, maybe, it was a tradition of that particular denomination, whatever they are.

Wow - the organist has made a Hammond sound boring. An achievement, of sorts.
Its not a Hammond made organ. And he's accompanying them, not the center of attention. You know nothing about music.
