Alan Moore's Darth Vader vs Guilt powered psychic assassin (Dark Lord's Conscience) is really interesting because it was written around the time of Empire Strikes Back. It seems like Moore intended to say that Vader was incapable of guilt or remorse. But after the Prequels it is easily reinterpreted to mean he's been at 110% self-hate ever since Padme, so he can't be hurt any worse.
I prefer the theory that they are all connected. Several authors seemed to be getting at that before the EU was cancelled. Cliff notes version: Celestials ruled the galaxy, decided they got to powerful, and chose to leave. One of their number, Wotzak, refused, staying behind and setting himself up as a god (Possibly in the Vong galaxy). He took parts of his own personality to try and make lesser gods who became the bedlam spirits. Realizing they were imperfect, he made to destroy them, but they tricked him into being imprisoned in a force crystal. The spirits then traveled to the beginning of time and started making all sorts of monsters like Mngall Mngall. Eventually, they all died off, except Tilotny, who would eventually become Abeloth, but that is a whole nother story, and this comment is getting long.
I feel like this may be a bit of a mismatch in my opinion due to what both are designed/trained for. As far as I'm aware the commando droids are more geared towards infiltration while ODSTs are more of a shock and awe sort of troops, kind of like paratroopers That being said, if the weapons the UNSC have can harm the Commando droids I'd give it to the ODSTs. I like this idea as well, if only because it's a crossover thing.

@@michaelandreipalon359 Honestly, it's my favorite animated series of all time, and I'm counting both Eastern and Western animation, so things like Samurai Jack and Avatar: The Last Airbender as well as anime like One Punch Man and Cowboy Bebop. I make a point to rewatch it at least twice a year. I even marathoned the whole thing in a day once, all 26 episodes, but that was a bit much. I don't think I'll be doing that again.

What I really love about it, and what no other series has really been able to capture for me is that feeling of "wow, look at this universe - it's so vast". When the main characters arrive on an alien world for the first time, there are dozens, if not hundreds of aliens in the background of the first few shots, and they FEEL really alien, like the artists actually took the time to develop these aliens, instead of just making stupid stock aliens. They FEEL real, if that makes any sense. And throughout the Great Races on Alwas and Oban, you meet a number of unique species that all have their own quirks and traits - my favorite being Spirit due to just how bizarre he is, but there are so many others - there's Prince Aikka, Rush, Para-Dice, O, Ceres... And they all FEEL like there's a history, a culture behind them. I apologize for going on and on, but I really do love the show, there's a lot packed into the 26 episodes.

"thats not how the force works" is both the smartest and the dumbest line of the TFA since attempting to put an objective truth to "a field of energy that surrounds and binds all living creatures".

3:39 I disagree. I think that the forms taken by the Bedlam Spirits have no meaning at all, and that's the point. Remember, the Bedlam Spirits don't understand physical form; when she encounters Leia and the stormtroopers, Tilotny believes she's created them herself. That's why the comic is called "Tilotny Throws a Shape." She incorrectly believes that she has invented the concept of shape and form. The weird purple and blue lava lamp looking spirit, Horliss-Horliss, has to instruct Splendid Ap, the big pink cone shaped guy, that a form can only be in one place at a given time. Splendid Ap was multiplying himself before Horliss-Horliss told him this.
Two things: One, I wish one of the bedlam spirits hadn’t been obviously humanoid shaped, And two, What if the Emperor created his super weapons to destroy the planet of the Nalnal.
The humanoid form she took upon was very early on in Tilotny's life, as she had just learning how to manipulate the lesser aspects of reality. Also, it could be because her creation was influenced by a grieving Celestial that remembered the humans of Earth Prime in its original Universe. I doubt The Emperor planed on destroying ancient cosmic horrors like Mggnal-Mggnal and other abominations forgotten in the interstellar void but I think it's safe to bet that his superweapons could kill most of them. If he were to encounter something akin to Anthlagiroth (The World Razer) then no amount of technology or Force powers would save him from its world-shattering fury or star-killing gluttony. But the chances of running into something like that is almost impossible. Eldritch abominations like The World Razer and Void Horror have been destroyed or sealed away far from the reach of galactic society.
Wuztek was a Celestial that created The Bedlam Spirits/Evil Architects. And from The Evil Architects came countless interdimensional abominations, one of the most dangerous being the dark god Oordryl or in modern times as Waru.

Your knowledge of the deep lore pleases me greatly. I really hope Eck goes over Cult Encounters soon. It'd be a great introduction into Supernatural Encounters later on when it finally releases...

3:39 I disagree. I think that the forms taken by the Bedlam Spirits have no meaning at all, and that's the point. Remember, the Bedlam Spirits don't understand physical form; when she encounters Leia and the stormtroopers, Tilotny believes she's created them herself. That's why the comic is called "Tilotny Throws a Shape." She incorrectly believes that she has invented the concept of shape and form. The weird purple and blue lava lamp looking spirit, Horliss-Horliss, has to instruct Splendid Ap, the big pink cone shaped guy, that a form can only be in one place at a given time. Splendid Ap was multiplying himself before Horliss-Horliss told him this.
Two things:
One, I wish one of the bedlam spirits hadn’t been obviously humanoid shaped,
And two, What if the Emperor created his super weapons to destroy the planet of the Nalnal.
The humanoid form she took upon was very early on in Tilotny's life, as she had just learning how to manipulate the lesser aspects of reality. Also, it could be because her creation was influenced by a grieving Celestial that remembered the humans of Earth Prime in its original Universe. I doubt The Emperor planed on destroying ancient cosmic horrors like Mggnal-Mggnal and other abominations forgotten in the interstellar void but I think it's safe to bet that his superweapons could kill most of them. If he were to encounter something akin to Anthlagiroth (The World Razer) then no amount of technology or Force powers would save him from its world-shattering fury or star-killing gluttony. But the chances of running into something like that is almost impossible. Eldritch abominations like The World Razer and Void Horror have been destroyed or sealed away far from the reach of galactic society.

Wuztek was a Celestial that created The Bedlam Spirits/Evil Architects. And from The Evil Architects came countless interdimensional abominations, one of the most dangerous being the dark god Oordryl or in modern times as Waru.

I’ve been thinking the kenobis canon story could have him expirence force visions involving some strange supernatural creatures though thats only a meager hope. You're actually right on the mark for this theory. At least in the EU, The Celestials departed our domain/dimension to others for we had willingly given up our faith in them for evil and dark desires or in simpler terms "sin".
