- This is a Virtual Pinball cabinet running off of a SD Windows install on the Steam Deck and Steam Dock, using Baller Installer, PinUp Popper, and VPX.
It works great!

Awesome work man! I've been building VP cabinets for 15 years now (lol I'm old). I've been waiting for a day when a PC this size would be able to run our cabinets. Amazing.
Steamdeck VP is awesome ! 😁
Sweet!
Which monitor did you use for your setup and where did you buy your amp? Much thanks! Awesome video 😊
Links are in the description!
Hi. Thanks for the video! I like your build.
What mod did you do to your Arcade1up machine to get it to play PinballFX3? Did you add a backglass monitor to it too?
Thanks! I have a video on the A1Up mod here:
ruclips.net/video/DsuNGBixAks/видео.html
is there a link to purchase this specific pinball cabinet?
Not yet - if you contact them, just tell them you want the new Steam Deck cabinet and they should know what you mean. Maybe even send them the link to this video (I've already shared it with them)
What was your cost on the cabinet kit?
Under $300 for the cabinet. Everything else sold separately, of course :)
Is this a new model? It’s not listed on their site. Was this a custom job they did for you?
I don't think there's a link on their site, yet. But just contact them and tell them you want the new Steam Deck cabinet and they will know what you mean.
This WAS a custom job! They are very friendly and helpful. I told them I basically wanted the Nintendo Switch cabinet, but with a flat top so I could mount the Steam Doc. They did a great job - this is exactly what I wanted!
@@TreZthanks! Just saw you answered earlier to other commenters. Last year, I got their 24” tabletop offering. I had to do some things to get it to my liking, but overall it’s a good cab. Only real gripe is it’s not the best for your hands. You’re basically gripping the side panels, and your hands start to hurt if you’re pushing on them too much.
But yours looks like it’s a little more flush with the plexiglass. Would you say it’s comfortable to play on?
@@Cargo_Bay I haven't played for an extended period, but it feels great to me!
what steam deck did you use? thnx!
It is the first gen - I wasn't aware there are different models!
Is your 24" monitor uncased?
Nope, it's still in the case
Is this also possible with the steam os instead of using windows?
VPX requires windows. You may be able to set up PinballFX with the Steam OS
for pinball FX, will it work with a 2 screen cabinet? with docking station of course...@@TreZ
@@JerryZhani I think so - you will have to look into 'Cabinet Mode'
Looks great! Do you know what kind of FPS you're getting?
@RyKnocks
I just did a quick FPS test on Mars Attacks, Medieval Madness, and Judge Dredd. I'm averaging around 57 FPS. Not bad at all!
How much is this where can u get?

Would be intrest if the nudging is realizable from the steam deck itself 😅 nice project 🤩
Thats cool. Will it work with a Asus Rog Ally?
Sorry, I really don't know
@TreZ that okay. I found their video and they had a rog ally hooked up to it.
How many games are on here im planning someday to have one of these in my home
It doesn't come with games. You will need to use Baller Installer, Pinup Popper, and Visual Pinball X to add games. There's a bit of a learning curve, but once it clicks, it's pretty simple!
@@TreZ *Visual Pinball X. Also, don't undersell it... there's a steep learning curve for the typical consumer. Even techies have a lot to learn and figure out.
@@Tamarocker88 Thanks for pointing out my typo!
