As a badminton fan from late 90's i can say this is trully a golden era of badminton. So many countries unfamiliar with badminton before are producing world class players, Japan, India, & Thailand are catching traditional traditional badminton giants.
That was entertaining to watch. The price on eBay is about 60p each, they are time consuming to make and I doubt these poor fellows get very much for their effort.
Now many countries are trying their luck in making badminton as part of their national identity, Japan, India, Thailand are trying to replicate China, Indonesia, S. Korea, Malaysia success in badminton. This is such a good time to be a badminton fan because there are so many great players from countries we never identified with badminton before.
cool process, but the end result doesn't look very polished. the head is made out of some sort of foam rather than cork? I guess these fall under more of budget shuttle cocks compared to the better grade ones used normally.

It's one of a cottage industry product.
The head was made of rubber, not foam. It it was foam, they would not need to drill the holes.
