ITS JUNE & TiME TO PLANT THE 1ST OF 2 GARDENS 😉🥰

When you live up north planting a garden is a little different than the rest of the country. Because we have colder weather longer. We usually can’t get our garden in until mid June because sometimes we will still have snow on the ground and we get frost at night.
There has been years where we have even been able to put our garden in until almost July because it was so cold and we got so much snow that it just took forever to melt.  it’s important when you plant a garden that the soil heats up or your seed won’t germinate and so if we have winters where we got a lot of snow and frost, we have to wait for that frost to come out of the ground and then of course the ground warm-up, so the seeds will germinate and grow.
But this winter was actually super mild and nice, but we still always wait till the middle of June just to be sure and good thing I did because we literally had frost right before I put my garden in.
They’re saying it’s gonna be a really warm so I am hoping to have a ton of vegetables because I wanna do so much canning and now that Hailey’s getting married I want to be able to to get her lots of food to start her own canning pantry and teaching her also for her and David and their family to come.
