I see you added tunes to your ski, Boston is always a good choice! Are you satisfied with the power or will you be looking to upgrade. I was looking at the same ski but wasn't sure if the 170 would be enough, although I'm sure it's alot better on fuel than the 230. Cheers from right across lake Ontario in NY.

Hi Kevin. This is my first PWC. It rides very well and I've had it up to 60 MPH. Mainly I ride in the Chesapeake Bay and surrounding tributaries--it's big water. Given that, I haven't found a need to go 70 or 80 mph. In other words, if it is not flat and your try and ride at top speed, you're going to get beaten up. I do a lot of exploring and set the cruise at 35-40 mph and find it does very well. I was trying to find a 230 or 300 when I bought this. However, this was the only thing I could find that was available. I have been very content and it does all I need. I hope this helps!

It does very well. You can adjust the nozzle to pitch the nose up, down, or neutral. So, in rough water, pitch it up and it will push the nose of the Sea Doo down. It rides quite nicely in the rough water.
